I'm worried for our boy Mike Perry...

Jake Paul already owns the UFC and his fans. The fact that a Youtuber can dominate former UFC champions & Hall of Famers in combat sports show how low the skill

ya used to be subtle. ya used to be convincing.

yer trollin needs werk : smug:

Umm, if you have followed these events, that is why we are worried for him. Win or lose he very likely won't get paid at all.
Interestingly, though, Perry has claimed the pay for his fight with Paul is around the same amount as he earns for a BKFC bout. Speaking with Michael Bisping on his YouTube channel, Perry said: "It's not bad. It's right on cue with BKFC. Nothing crazy." For reference, per talkSPORT, the Florida native received $600,000 (£463,000) for his last fight - an April win over Thiago Alves.

$600,000 isn't anything to sneeze at. It's on par with what he makes in the bkfc.

Huh, guess I was wrong, its surprising hes not getting over 1 million for a boxing fight like this. Its good money, 600,000 is enough to start a whole new life on but this may be a sign this gimmick boxing thing is winding down (plus add in Nate Diaz suing fanmio).

Speaking of Jake Paul, he's been begging for a MMA fight.. He wanted one with Diaz and he wanted one with Perry after the boxing match.

I think Jake beats Perry in MMA too

And nobody is accepting his challenge to fight MMA
Jake would have to fight at 185 or 205, of course he would want two guys two weight classes under lol.

Just shows how  good Jake Paul is. Best base for combat sports is a camp fuelded by Disney money.

He’s getting slaughtered. I would love to be wrong about that but I doubt I will be.

He shouldn't have taken this fight. BKFC is his thing and he can still milk it.

Jake Paul & Alex Pereira exposing MMA bad
Well as has already been said Jake Paul is beating older (in the case of Silva way past prime) fighters usually lighter then himself in a sport that takes away most of their best weapons (except in the case of Woodley arguably, who often just relied on a right hook while against the cage, but even then Prime Woodley used a lot of wrestling), so its just silly to say he's exposing the sport, the guys just smart with his optics.

Pereira isn't "exposing MMA" , he's showing the beauty of MMA. People rightfully point out how early MMA and Vale Tudo showed how movie ninja shit rarely works in a cage fight (although I've heard interesting arguments for why ancient martial arts shouldn't be compared to modern MMA too much like how arguably the "crane position" is to block and conduct groin strikes, and obviously fighting to the death in ancient warfare is different)
BUT what I love in part about modern MMA is that often enough the reverse has been shown, from Silva to Izzy to Peirera to even O'malley an all the crazy high light reel knockouts - ninja shit can actually work! - and under the proper circumstances striking can absolutely crush a wrestler/ju jitsu fighter.

BRO STOP WITH THE TLDRS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im joking <WhitmanDefeat>

Not the same, but he did beat a proper boxer in the "Triad" event, beating everyone since then, close decisions or not, i dont think he wins, but wouldnt be surprised if he does, Nate Diaz survived, Perry should too.
