Pro wrestling melting into MMA really does show how sports are more entertainment then pure competition Olympic style today. Then again sports - including the Olympics - have always been spectacle at least in part, and I love some good drama and a good walkout, can really add to a fight. PRIDE was a spectacle in the best way possible MMA wise.

Remember the ol' Roman cliche "bread and circus", a lot of that "circus" was what we'd today probably call "sport" .
