Jake Paul already owns the UFC and his fans. The fact that a Youtuber can dominate former UFC champions & Hall of Famers in combat sports show how low the skill
It’s almost like boxing and MMA are 2 completely different sports.

Like a lifetime longer right ?
That's cuz dude is borderline beating up the elderly.

Theres no getting around the fact that its a bad look for MMA. People used to call Nate one of the best MMA boxers, and he was known for his great chin. It wasnt all that long ago that he rocked Leon badly and potentially would have gotten the finish if he wasnt a retard. Woodley was also known for his chin, very explosive and was one of the biggest hitters ever at 170 in MMA. Yeah these guys are in their mid/late 30s and on the downslide but they still shouldnt be getting beaten by a goofy Disney kid who started training boxing in like 2017.

I used to hate seeing it, now I just think if these washed up guys are such whores for a payday that they line up to offer themselves up for sacrifice to the vanity project of a rich Youtuber and make themselves and their sport look bad, then fuck it, let it all burn.

His best win was the ghost of Anderson Silva at 47 years old and he barely won whilst taking away his best weapons.
His other wins are wrestlers who couldn't wrestle and Nate Diaz. Perry is the worst MMA out of that lot but is a very live dog in this fight.
He won't throw low, volume, is less likely to worry about a no knockout clause and will take the fight to Jake.

Jake is stacking everything in his favour and still looking average everytime he fights anyone good. At this point he should be fighting more actual boxers, hell even open it up and do kickboxing or something.

It seems like fucking Paul has a great team that knows who he can beat. His opponents are either past their primes or they are just smaller. Mike’s a dawg, but Paul’s gonna win. I’ll be happy if Mike pulls it off.
Yes, it’ll diminish Mike’s reputation.

well he is beating retired ufc fighters, not ufc champions, and he is on roids and usually 1-2 weight classes bigger than all of them. 46 Year Old Anderson was giving him fits, Tyron in the 1st match up arguably won, and Nate Diaz even after getting beat up early, still came after him and put up a good fight. I give him his props, but to say he is dominating is a bit much.
Exactly. He’s a smart businessman that knows how to box.

Average Jake Paul hater before the fight: It's over for Jake because X would never take a dive.
After the fight: It's rigged as always!

Yea it will diminish his reputation for sure, but that's part of the deal when you sign to fight Jake Paul. You cash out and disappear, the Woodley route.

Perry is a tough dude for sure, but he's not even an average boxer.

He will get knocked out yes, he's smaller, fights like a crazy person and Jake can punch. He's also there for the big cash.

While I 100% believe that the Paul brothers and everyone in their entourage are asshats, as a fan of the fighters it is satisfying to see the OGs (many of whom might've earned less than they potentially could have) ride off into the sunset with a fat payday for
let's be real essentially one last circus act "fight."

Sorry about the run-on.

He's a tough dude, but after watching his BKFC fights, he arguably lost to MVP and Lane. He comes straight forward, chin up, little head movement, and relies on toughness.

Will losing to Jake Paul diminish his reputation? I can see him getting knocked out by Paul.

I'm nervous.
TWood lost to Jake Paul, true mma/bkfc fans won't care.

Not the same, but he did beat a proper boxer in the "Triad" event, beating everyone since then, close decisions or not, i dont think he wins, but wouldnt be surprised if he does, Nate Diaz survived, Perry should too.
The 40 year old journeyman he fought (michael seals??) Won that fight easily...that was a terrible decision.

And PMP had a pro boxing fight early I his MMA career and got knocked out by a nobody. Not looking good for this weekend.
