Not necessarily correct. My procedure, I shit out pretty much everything that evening , slept through the night , had one small shit in the morning and then walked 25 minutes to the hospital and then had no crap after that for a couple of days.

Colonoscopy was my first time going under. I was curious as to how it would go since I have a pretty strong drug/alcohol tolerance (percocet did nothing except keep me from pooping.) I was told to count backwards from 200. 200, 199, 19... aaand we're back! They told me to sit up and start farting. Wow did I ever. But the pipes were clean so all power no sour.

Haven't had a Colonoscopy yet but it's gonna have to be in the next few years

I did however have a cystoscopy (like a colonoscopy but in the front) and it was pretty traumatizing.

Not comparable. Colonoscopy apart from the pre meds that some people moan about is not really much at all. Preferred it to prostate exams.

I got Cosby'd and Michael Jackson'd.

The prep wasn't too bad. I had to drink two bottles (apple flavor). The first bottle went down easy enough. The last sip of the second bottle was tough to get down. A third bottle would have been a bridge too far.

Seriously? Even if Dr recommended the hospital in Edmonton won't do it if under 55? Did they at least do the fecal screening?

You should be all cleaned out after your prep and you might be gassy after the procedure, but I've never had an issue with any discharge afterwards.

Prep sucks, but the procedure is super easy. Take it easy on your stomach for about 24 hours, though and lay on your left side to get rid of gas.

I took some because of the ' just in case ' .

Law giving guy said he heard of folks who have done so. Never heard of it from anyone in the UK who has had it happen though.
