Grappling will end him. Islam is great at this. What makes you think a much smaller man will far lesser grappling would win? Yes he has power. But more than say Justin G? No. Khabib made it look easy vs Justin, as he would against Ilia. As would Islam. Until I see him defeat someone with great takedowns and grappling I can't see it happening. Khabib and Islam would both have 20 pounds in him fight night. Islam may a fight we see, and then we will know. I would bet on I Islam tho. Khabib never happens, but I see little chance for Ilia in that fight.

That's hopefully sarcastic on your part, as that comparison is not even remotely close and if not sarcasm it would only leave ignorance. Khabib would maul him easily. Volk being to scared to try to grapple is also very funny...I don't think his plan was round 1 or 2 takedowns. He went for 0, but had the fight progressed it would have been much different in the later rounds. Volk just got old and was too active as of late. Ilya is good, has power but winning the belt doesn't make him great . Always much harder to defend and keep so we shall see how it goes.
