Arman pulled a ridiculously inconvenient thing with his back injury to end up having Moicano thrown to the lion and it is obvious the UFC organisation has put him on the back burner for it but its a bit odd to say the top contender in the LW division does not deserve it given there is a gap between him and the competition. a far more interesting match than a grudge match in Paddy v Ilia, the former whom will be out of his depth v Ilia.

There's no conceivable reason to give anyone who isn't Arman the next title shot. Still, if the UFC isn't going to give the shot to Arman, someone's going to get it, and even if they do give it to Arman, someone's going to be the backup plan. Max just lost quite convincingly to Ilia and no one else is even close to deserving it or even close to being a particularly intriguing matchup. Justin is as likely as any of the completely underservings to produce a fun fight to watch.

If some reason Topuria was scheduled for Islam and a day before pulled out over an "injury", then never fought since and it's been over a year since he last fought, I think there would be much more hate than with Arman. Not to mention that Topuria gets more money for a Paddy match who looked better against Chandler than Olivera did. It's really not the end of the world for Arman to have to fight a low ranked guy like Gamrot to re-earn a shot, he basically ruined Islam's legacy even more with another last minute opponent.
