I think it's great they're taking down the criminals.

I don't think it's great that they've been caught abusing their authority, violating people's rights, and using excessive force in some incidents. I don't think it's great that the DHS has been caught lying in a presser, only to retract or drop their claims during court proceedings.

Just because they catch a rapist or criminal or illegal does not mean they get leniency or free reign to demand papers from citizens and beat up people for recording from a distance.
