Arresting Don Lemon is ridiculous. Great way to get everybody to hate ICE at a critical moment for the agent's efforts.

It's the administration trying to send a message before the Epstein dropped. They were trying to scare others not into investigating it.
They still have 3 million plus files and things were put out then deleted live and things leaked.
If they investigate one of the 13 year old accusers and if any of its true, it's Snuff level bad. We now know the doj under bondi and FBI under Patel and anything Trump said about it was false. 27 total accusers of trump, 3 underage. THAT WE ONLY KNOW OF.

Give magafiles a month they'll forget about it and start raging about a culture war where facts aren't required to argue.

I really doubt Don Lemon's arrest is going to have an impact either way. He's an absolute clown, and I think most people were disgusted with that ridiculous stunt he took part in.

He's not particularly popular on the right or the left, maybe that's why they're targeting him, but the fact the feds are arresting someone for really doing nothing other chasing a viral story as a journalist (a strategy that worked, btw) is a quick way to alienate any reasonable American.

Because, best case, what is this? Political theater? Using the power of federal law enforcement to arrest someone as a tit-for-tat virtue signaling stunt?

Not if he crossed a line and became a participant, which is what this will all come down to. I don't know where that line is when it comes to an illegal demonstration(he wasn't helping a cartel deliver drugs or anything), but we may find out. He let a few things slip while speaking about it beforehand and was pretty brazen about participating in it and showing his disdain for the people inside afterwards. It was only after his buddies started getting arrested that he started doing the whole "I'm just an innocent little journalist" routine.
