Its a bit sad that there are no intellectually honest or credible conservative ICE supporters left on Sherdog. I have 2 questions I would like to ask normal people who support ICE up until violations of constitutional rights (seems all ICE supporters left support them as SS police state martial law terrorists)

- Are you at least willing to say Greg Bavino dressing as a SS officer in a weird ass nazi themed trench coat is bad optics & PR? Too close to a dog whistle.

- How come all the Uber big tough talk Sherdoggers who believe in this cause aren't signing up for ICE? Is it because?

I support ICE. I support the general idea of the agency. What I don't support are the people currently in power and running it. Greg Bavino for instance, seems like a total piece of shit, and has done massive photo ops. For what? To egg on the hostility's currently going on? Could he not wait for things to cool down before doing the SS type style vibe photo shoots?

I don't support agents not having BODYCAMS, ffs. Also I see it on twitter all the time, about Obama's ICE and how no one complained about it when he was President, GOOD FUCKING POINT. Why didn't we complain about it then? Probably because they weren't constantly in the headlines killing people and violating American rights? Does common sense not exist anymore?

Would you say that once an agency is infested & this far gone its worth not supporting?

I would totally concede and not push back on right wing conservatives having an agency to deport illegal aliens who have committed any kind of crimes under simple requests.
-They didn't go out of their way to kill people.

-They had no authority or contact with US citizens who aren't physically touching them or barricading them in.

-Body cam

However, I dont trust that this administration or law enforcement agencies in this country can live up to or self police those basic requests. So I just cant support ICE based on history & current climate.

I rather have illegals and maybe defend myself against them than have to deal with radical police state tactics & armed military marching down on people that look like me in my own town.

I think many first world fair countries have stricter immigration than the US. I feel there is probably some truth in immigration reform & putting citizens first.
However, I feel prioritizing the constitutional right & freedoms that this administration is trampling is more important & we currently cant have both. Directly competing values.
