I'm not interested in your post history. I take issue with you calling the demonstrations "Pro-Hamas". That's either complete ignorance on your part or very deliberately misleading phrasing

Ok I don't care what you take issue with. Some demonstrators were indeed pro-Hamas.

You've skipped a lot of uncomfortable details for convenience. They're infants and children. You failed to address the fact that infants and children are not only being separated from parents on the spot with no safety net but separated from medical appointments and their supply of life saving medications. This was happening back in 2020 as well.

You're doing an appeals to emotion. Yet you still can't name anything that was not true.

Are you familiar with the typical justice process for someone apprehended and arrested for a crime in America? ICE does not follow this process so if you're going to compare the two, understand the difference.

You're comparing apples to oranges. Most of the people detained have deportation orders already and were already deemed illegal. A judgment was already established - they're illegal.

Arresting someone for a crime is completely different. The authorities have to prove guilt.

Time to check you notes again. The majority of the country condemns the manner in which ICE is apprehending and dissapearing people.

Yet the majority of the country wants deportations of all illegal immigrants. Not just ones with criminal records, but all of them. Check any of the recent polls.

As these riots continue, it seems that the Marines might be called in. The National Guard is present but I haven't seen too much of their operations on the ground (yet). I can categorically declare that you do not want the combat arms dealing with these protesters; the mandate of a soldier is first and foremost to be ready to kill. Close with and destroy the enemy. I know that sounds crazy, but it is absolutely true. It is 100% necessary when dealing with major threats outside of your country but man oh man is it nasty when they get brought in to deal with domestic problems. ICE's treatment of the protesters has actually been pretty gentle all things considered; ditto the LAPD, oddly enough. Again, different mandates.

If the Infantry, Marines, Rangers, etc are deployed to deal with these protests in any great numbers they are going to fucking maul these protesters. I guarantee you there are a shitload of young bucks just chompin' at the bit to get out there and more than a few older ones in command who've been sitting around bored since Afghanistan wound down. I'm not saying that's a good thing cuz it's not, but I really hope ICE is left to deal with illegals, the LAPD to deal with the protesters, and the military proper is kept in reserve in case of some EXTREME escalation of violence.

Let the military handle the threats without and the LEO's handle the threats within.

Leaving out a bit of context though, aren't we? Like, how one group was honestly trying to stop the certification of our highest election. And how that same group was pardoned by the president who asked them to be there in the first place?

The rioters in Los Angeles are pitiful in number and ARE getting arrested and charged with full support of 99% of the city.

These started as legitimate protests due to have handed tactics by an administration who promised to target hardened criminals, but have instead resulted to literally rolling up on Home Depot's and grabbing up day-laborers. And by all accounts, the desire to simply produce numbers has resulted in a decrease on the percentage of law enforcement focussed on actual serious crime. In short, your trumps desire to give his base something to distract them from his broken promises, will result in a decrease on felony arrests among illegals compared to his predecessors. Well done.

But you sum up all of that as "Well da LA riots have thousands and those Jan 6 heroes were only like 1,500 so da LA riots are totally worse." To which, I have to ask: When trump said he loved the poorly educated, did you all just think he was talking to the guy next to you?
