The national guard was called in because federal authorities were being attacked, assaulted, and their work obstructed by large hostile crowds and Karen Bass wouldn’t let the LAPD do their fucking jobs.

With the national guard there, ICE no longer has to focus on protecting themselves and diverting their manpower to arresting rioters. They can get back to work on delivering the mass deportations that voters resoundingly voted for in November.
