Social ICE/deportation protests and riots megathread

what is crazy is ICE didn’t even arrest that many people. They target a known criminal illegal, and just so happens they are normally with other illegals who then also get arrested.

Yet they going to protest this much?

Who was detained? The Department of Homeland Security said in a statement that the ICE operations in Los Angeles resulted in the arrests of 118 immigrants this week, including 44 people in Friday's operations.3 hours ago

He hates democracy. He also refuses to take action on prop 36. Imagine this guy in the big seat. We'll have 10 million new illegals every year.

That is a scary thought. Dude would be a nightmare as President. He can't even take care of his own state. No way he can handle the entire US.

Fellow Americans standing up for other fellow Americans. Crazy how anyone could see the freedom fighters as the bad guys and the fascists ice goons as the good guys.

I was thinking what kind of animal would support this.
Now i know.

Who’s to blame for the homeless problem?
Ninth court case that allowed camping on public areas in 2018, homelessness has always been an issue in LA, a controllable issue, and then it went out of control, like overnight, the entire county was out of control.

No chance he will be President.

He had only a slim chance after the fires. Slim has now left the building.

He knows this sort of shit is electoral poison which is why he spent all year to this point trying to rebrand as a moderate but this blows that to hell.

The left thinks they can double down on illegals first open border shit and think 4 years of successful immigration policy will have people soften up to where they can get away with spouting open border policies or otherwise undoing the sealed southern border.

Usually they would be correct. When the border is quiet as it’s historically been during Trump 2.0. People get whimsical and welcoming.

The one thing that can keep general resentment towards illegals fresh is actively siding with them at every turn no matter how they behave and disregarding an electoral mandate for mass deportations.

Where would you propose the homeless go? What resources would you offer them? Would you consider taxing the wealthy?

ICE planning to raid a Home Depot was the final straw lol

And it will get worse tomorrow when Newsom successfully shops a Biden judge to temporarily keep the national guard out. Which can last a day unless an appeals court does an emergency smackdown.

But by that point he’ll probably just keep them there himself to take the credit

the homeless go to the shelters, taxing the wealthy does nothing, we already pay state income tax on top of federal, you could tax the wealthy 100% and not be able to solve the homeless issue. As long as having encampments is acceptable, people will take advantage. As long as zoning and regulations are restrictive, housing will be unaffordable tens of billions in funding was squandered, taxes don’t solve nothing

Last year LAHSA lost like 3b dollars and nobody knows where it went. The person in charge was a friend of the mayor and was accused of mass incompetence and corruption lol

Anyone else old fashioned like me and think that maybe by the third day of violence in a city, someone in charge should be telling people to stop burning shit, stop destroying police cars, stop breaking up the road for pieces of concrete to throw at the cops trying to kill them?

It's not happening. It's just the fascists and their propaganda.
