Of course it's hard to solve complex problems, but unlike most you in here I don't have the hubris to believe I have all the answers. Also I would challenge how easy it is to identify problems, using this sub as a prime example. As for why you seem to be stuck on "real leader" and forcing me to name someone, I don't know what to tell you. I hope and believe someone will eventually rise up out of all this chaos, but among our current crop on both sides I see no one.

Yes. I would say the main people pushing/doing violence in CA is most likely paid actors. You then add in antifa/ morons with nothing better to do to follow up, add in insane rhetoric from the POTUS and Republicans in general on social media, and then you have what we currently have happening. The riots in general are small. I watched live feed all day yesterday, and the National guard didn't do anything to quell the protest.

The response from LAPD seems to be decent, and Gavin and the Mayor are behind LAPD. Could they have done better? Yes. Did Trumps actions regarding the NG and his social media post make the situation 10 times worse? Yes.

It's just pathetic the current narrative being pushed on social media is ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS with foreign flags are burning the city down. I would bet good money none of the men in the pictures plastered all over social media are illegal immigrants.


Also last night ICE tried to suggest LAPD ignored their calls for help during the early start of the protest. And the Police Chief stated with proof that LAPD responded and helped them within 38 minutes. The police Chief also stated there are no lines of communication between the NG and LAPD. So if shit does hit the fan, how in the world is the NG going to respond effectively to help defuse/stop violence?
