You know what's really hilarious/hypocritical about the media/politicians is they are saying "nothing is happening here" and the media is posting "don't believe you're lying eyes"...posting footage from a random ass location. Los Angeles as a city has a roughly 50 mile radius, it is massive. Also comments about current "protests" have negatively affected "a small area of the city" by comparison the same size as the recent wildlifires have. Yet they became a national focus for weeks as they screamed "save us from the fire, It's horrible", when it effects them personally, and down play the impact of protests/rioting/looting/ect when it doesn't.

Cops have been attacked quite a bit. Add the looting, setting fire to cars, etc etc... and they weekend isn't even here yet. Get ready.

I hate that shit so much. I hate the j6 rioters but I tend to hate this shit more because it is directed at the public and it’s a lot more people attacking police than just a handful of assholes and they were charged with those crimes and convicted. The assholes in la are breaking up sidewalks to get ammunition and then throwing it at cops and running and hiding in the crowd like some sort of guerilla tactic shit.

Yeah... it's shitty and I hope it ends soon.

About an hour and a half ago an appeals court overturned the ruling that Trump needs to rescind control of the National Guard. Looks like they'll be in place a bit longer.

They issued a stay, allowing for the trump administration to respond. This is typical.

They didn't overrule, because they did not even consider the merits, which this previous federal court, actually did.

As this shit spreads to other cities (Seattle is popping off now) it just reminds me of how much I love to see rioters get arrested. It’s such a warm and fuzzy feeling for me but it also leaves room for the other end of that spectrum watching riot police shoot non violent or innocent people with pepper balls or foam rounds whe we all know that those people bare getting a check at some point and that pisses me off

A pardon is very different from immunity, and immunity is only one component to what's protecting Trump _specifically_. His total personal control over the entire federal law enforcement apparatus precludes even the possibility of being charged at all.
