MT
Got there early and got in about 5 min of bag work before I got asked to help with the kids class and spar them. I beat the crap out of a bunch of 12 years olds.

Got myself a 10lb sledge hammer and did some tyre beating. Did downwards and lateral shots.

Long run

Did 50 straight situps, 50 twisting sit ups *2

I also have brought my sledge and tyre into work and will be beating it at the top of a hill during my lunch.
I need to find my camera charger and do it for next time so people can see how I spend my lunch hours
 
Between the child-beating and bringing the hammer and tyre (tire, dammit) to work, you're well on your way to the psych ward at your local hospital and/or penitentiary. Congratulations! :)

I got some proper looks from a few people because carrying the tyre (:P) and sledge for about 2 miles via back roads (farms everywhere). On the way back I just had the sledge so that was even more interesting.

Afternoon
Sledge hammering for 20 minutes. Wasn't non stop, more like sets of 20 downwards both sides and sets of 10 lateral strikes.
It was a 2 mile walk there and 2 mile walk back


Evening
2 hours thai.
First hour was sprint type work (so a hard 3 min round with 1 min active rest like teeps or upper cuts).
3 of us so held for 2 rounds, did block single, block double, block triple kicks for 3 sets on 1 leg, then other then first, then hand combo and 12 knees. Teeps for rest
2nd time around was 15 power shots (singles) and a body hook low kick combo (with about 4 other strikes in there as well). Rest was the uppercuts.


2nd hour

Held for 4 rounds.
Hit for 4 rounds, which included 10, 7, 5, 3, 2, 1 at the end of the final round and 10's during the main bits. First round was punching only with 2, 4->10 and back down again for the 1 min

I didn't realise the distance was wrong when I finished. I allowed 10s, but that was for 250m, but after the first one I thought why not, my fitness could do with the extra work.

Many rounds of light sparring with on eof the boys going out soon. 2 min rounds with varying things with 30s rest for slightly over a hour.
Went upstairs and did some harder rounds in the ring.

Boxing is getting better along with fitness (one means the other with me because I'm so active in my sparring)

Sparred with smithy and just smith for god knows how many rounds. Different things were worked on, first 2 rounds for example were just legs kicks.

We were sparring for an hour solid, 2 min on, 1 off. The last 4 rounds were 3 on 1 off though.

I was impressed with both my fitness and explosiveness and with smithys ability to keep going. His fitness from 4 sessions a week is much better then it used to be (he used to flag after just 3 rounds and his lips would go blue)


Did some extra sparring with the newbs when the session was over and did some vertical slegde hammer work at the end. Got a 4 ft JCB back tire on the way, that should be for next weekend. Just need to ff load it then, that should be fun

Cardio

5 min fast rowing.

I ate at about 11.40 and rowed at 2.20. But god damn when I finished I thought I was going to vomit and pass out for about 10 min. I felt very iffy for about 45 min.
I stopped to check the time about 3 times so lost about 10s and the last 1 min 30 I was averaging about 1 min 42 per 500, but I finished the 1500 in 5 min 4s, so I wondering how fast I was going for the first 3 and a bit min. My legs were burning for the last 2 minutes.

5 sets of 200m with 2 min rest. I got the average 500 down to 1 min 22 for about 10s for the first 2 sets, but other then that it felt bad

3 round shadow boxing
3 rounds pads. First 2 rounds ended with 10, 7, 5, 3, 2, 1 kicks both sides. Last round ended with missing the head kick and kicking 1, 2, 3 up to 10 and back down one leg, then the other.
We did other stuff but after the pyramid of kicks I can't remember what

MT-camera crew from bbc came down to interview us who are going to thailand and video us training.

3 rounds shadow boxing
20 press ups and 20 sit ups in between rounds

After some mucking about and holding for a round for the single double triple round got into the ring with paul on the pads for a round infront of the camera.
A couple of rounds on the pads with charlie.
He went in and did some with paul.
He held for me for a round, then I held for him.
We did interviews
Held for 2, Hit for 2. That was a long 2 rounds because 20s in to the round the camera was trained on me, so obviously I thought they'd be doing maybe 20s so I went for it. At the end of the first round I thought they'd go. No, they stayed for the 2nd round as well.

I was fucked...good and proper

An hour of 2 min rounds with 30s break light sparring with smith and tony. Working on various things and rotating whos on for the entire round every round, with other 2 people jumping in every 30 s.
After that about 30 min of sparring in the ring upstairs
