Watford wednesday

Heavy session, feeling rough

got to end, ol took me 2 rounds with shins on, the boss took me 1 round with just boxing, 1 with low kick

2 mile run
3 rounds on the bags
3 rounds shadow boxing
Block single, block double, block triple, inside 5 left, grab 12 knee for a round
Kept warm after that for 30 min or so on the bags
Went upstairs and did lots of sparring....ol was fresh, got there late (well, 20 min or so) and isn't fighting soon, so he was the fresh guy beating me and tony up...cunt ;P

Conditioning at end-press ups, crunches, holding a squat position etc

Fight night

Went well

Got a standing 8 in the first 20s of the first round. Hit by a heavy right hand. I went onto almost 1 knee, but jumped straight back up.
2nd round i returned the favour and the final was me chasing and slipping jabs and coming back to right hands and kicks.

Have a interview monday and tuesday and have a nicely bruised up right eye....its going to be a conversation starter for sure
 
One of the girls came along so I will see if I can get any pics off her.
I think she was using a digital....she got some good shots of me doing the ram muay and a head kick that she showed me afterwards.

Cardio

First day back since last week, so went for a long run/jog (I think the fact that I slowed right down to a snails pace about 4 times means I can count it as a run...if I kept the same speed it would have been a jog)

I think it was about 6 miles (my usual long run + 3 extra laps, running the last half of each lap)

1 round single double triple-but block single, block double, block triple on right leg then same left leg*3 then grab knees
Because we had a thai trainer down till thursday we did basic grappling knee work

I took the first session, so didn;'t train

Did the warm up for 2nd session then single double triple round with jab liow combination for 1 for rest, then back to single double triple.
Then thai guy did rest. I didn't really train due to odd numbers, so did bag work working on stuff and picking ralphs brain

Did a shorter distance but did 5 hill sprints with 2, 4, 6,8, 10, 10, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1, 1 straights with 5 sets pf the parry drill work at the end of each sprint

Then 3 rounds boxing-all with anwar
3 rounds legs only-1 person on, 2 people alternating per round
3 rounds full technique-as above
rest for 5 min (1 round with rests)
4 rounds of 1 person and 5 different fresh peopel jumping in on them-this was me just yelolign at people and really just did 4 or so bursts of 20 s in all

Went to watch the guys fight


2 won by domination but kenny lost on points and due to the other guy kneeing him to the head in b class (and fucking biting on the mouth guard so that it owuld fly out after being hit)
