2 mile run to warm up
3 rounds of 3 min skipping, 30s break
3 rounds of 2 min on the bag. 1 min on, either mid kicks (30s a leg), straight punches (1 min) or low kicks (30s)
3 3 min rounds on the pads, 30s break
Many rounds easy sparring
Went upstairs and did god knows how many rounds sparring. I was on the trot for about 5 2 min rounds (and worked through breaks) then jumped in and out, then grappled for 2 minutes on the trot (same lack of break), then jumped in with the other guys who were grappling

Chris took me on the pads, I took ol on the pads then paul took me on the pads
Conditioning work, a lot of core stuff
Then did some weighted russian twists for sets of 10 after the session

Stayed behind to help take someone training because the bosses were havign a meeting

Many rounds of pad work. 3 min rounds, 30s rest. Boxing for 4 or 5, Low kick for 3 or 4, 2 knees and full technique for 2
Press ups with medicine ball-sets of 10 with varying hand placement
Shallow squats with medicine ball out straight- 1 min
Rotation work with medicine ball-1 min
Medicine ball swings for a min

Stretch
 
pure stand up clinch work mate


Basically working on getting domination in the thai clinch so you can set people up to throw in good knees
 
That's what I thought. I'm guessing CHINS and BORs help a lot with that.
 
I haven't done chins or pull ups for ages mate.


But I do BOR 110kg (at a weight of 82) for a double or so.

That said, my strength is good, but technique is sub par. Something I need to spend time on I'm afraid (I'm fine fighting, just out muscle and don't get caught, but sparring and against someone whos got the form...problem)


edit- I think having durable traps and being able to lock your neck would go a long way

Continuous tit for tat technique work with ol in the ring
Head kick trading
Sparred for 8 rounds, 2 with ol, 2 with anwar, 2 with sam, 2 with ol again.
Full technique then clinch work. Got man handled by taylor and put on my arse a few times.

Good session. Fun training with ol because we're both arseholes when we spar :D

32.5kg (OL bar+2*5+2*1.25)

Then 2 3 min rounds, 1 min off DB swings with 14kg

Really pissed off all session. Not in a good way. Knackered, tired, heavy legs.....bit of mental side stuff in there which shouldn't....fuck fuck fuck

3 rounds on the bag, but split between 2 people (so 25 kicks one left, 25 the other, 50 straights on other bag, 25 left knee, 25 right)
Held for the 3 rounds as before

30 min sparring
 
Yeah, just a smaller 'get into the swing of things for 2007' in feb.
Fights at 84kg, I'm in at 82 (81 this morning).....so got lots of eating to do.

2 british titles (i'm not sure of details, whether full or area titles), european semi finals in germany, all going well finals in portugal and thailand again in nov for world championships.

1 round pads (block right low, right mid, then block double mid, then block triple mid, inside block, 5 left mid, repeat for 3 min).
Many rounds sparring-5 people, 1 person on for a round with others jumping in for 20s or so. First time through was just boxing, then full technique.
