Ians MT and PL log-2

Was supposed to get up and go MT, but so sore and drained, skipped it.
Instead went to the gym at about 15:00 and did some light LSD work (30 on eliptical and 10 on bike). Major stretching afterwards

Had off due to major hang over and foul mood due to....women issues


I have just realised though that maybe my deadlifting ability (and 20kg increase in 6 weeks) could be due to my recent inclusion of high pulls (and better grip from rack pulls).

Wouldn't that be a kicker

6 rounds on the bag (3 min each, 4 sets of 10 different press ups at end of round 1 and 2, kick up stretching at end of these 2 rounds also). Last 4 rounds were 3 min with 1 min break, 1 round in there was on the floor to ceiling ball.

I actually plan on lifting on Christmas day, not sure my family know yet.
 
Last year I was running on xmas day and new years day (running, not lifting due to gyms being closed)

Went for hour runs in the woods backing the cottege.

Not all of that hour was jogging mind you. About 30 was running, 15 was walking up hill because my legs was fucked and I had to rest a bit and the other 15 was walking down hill. Attempting to run down hill proved....hazardous (20-45 degree gradient).
I was going to run the other days, but was either too worn out from walking (over 3 days, about 10 hours walking over the hills with the dog), pissed, or by t he time I got back it was dark,.....oh yeah, that and bloody raining and too slippery to run later/next day

Cardio

LSD run again.
Much more of a run then jog this time. Lactic began to burn just before the half way stage. Had to concentrate on the breathing.
Did extra 1/3 mile lap when I got home as well. Ran as fast as I could the last 1/6, then jogged back to the same position and did it again
