Traitor.I'm turning on shavkat because
He was supposed to fight for the title.Shavkat seemed to have played it safe..
Supply and demandI'm not surprised at all anymore with how many shit threads you guys create immediately after fights. With that being said, carry on.
GSP is like a dollar version of Belal. He would get dumped on his full hair headed head.
People really out here pretending Shavkat wasn't a big, big part of the reason this fight was boring?Well anyone who’s watched Garry fight, knew this was the type of fight it would be. He’s a point fighter happy to just throw oblique kicks and has good enough defensive wrestling to make it boring.
He's probably envious of gsp's luscious and pristine full head of hair in his 40sNot sure if you’re trolling or actually serious. God I hope it’s not the latter. Literally would be the dumbest take in sherdog history.
K. Never said he didn’t contribute to it, just styles make fights & this one was well laid out.People really out here pretending Shavkat wasn't a big, big part of the reason this fight was boring?
Ian had the only exciting moments in the fight, not Shavkat. Shavkat was boring AF
So I guess it's only fair Shavkat gets the same treatment Khamzat did, no?Fights between sparring partners are usually uneventful. I don't see why 1 average performance should erase the previous 18 finishes.
Khamzat lost to Burns in many people's eyes and struggled with short notice Usman, he rebounded nicely.
That was the 5th. The 4th was Shavkat getting 2 TDs, Garry had 0 sub attempts, landed 0 strikes on the ground in that round or any other, and his strikes on the feet were just oblique kicks to the shin that did no damage. There’s a good argument for garry winning the 4th. Shavkat never had a dominant position, got outlanded on the feet, garry had 2 submission attempts and landed more strikes on the ground, and a ton of shavkats “ground and pound” hit garry in the chest or just glanced on his head
No, it was the 4th. He had two front chokes, very extremely clearly landed a bunch of strikes on the ground, landed more on the feet, and shavkats ground and pound was mostly ineffectiveThat was the 5th. It was just a boring fight with Shavkat controlling most of it and landing a few decent strikes here and there, and Garry doing a decent job defending, and when it was 3-1 and a decision was already out of reach, Shavkat took a silly risk trying to keep his finishing streak and tried to jump on his back from a bad position and created a bad scramble that he lost and got his own back taken for about a minute. Garry was fine having his "moment" and held the body triangle from the bottom for like 2 minutes after Shavkat reversed and let the clock expire when he needed a finish.
He took shots but he didn’t go life and death. Don’t know what fight you watched .Why did people expect shavkat to just walk over Garry when he went life and death with the likes of Geoff Neal who Ian Garry comfortably beat?
Wasn't fair thenSo I guess it's only fair Shavkat gets the same treatment Khamzat did, no?
You should send an email to the UFC stat keepers then. No, it was the 4th. He had two front chokes, very extremely clearly landed a bunch of strikes on the ground, landed more on the feet, and shavkats ground and pound was mostly ineffective
It's not fair but also, take that to all the dickholes who did.Wasn't fair then
Not fair now
