I think we're all just flabbergasted with Shavkat's performance now

Sometimes it feels like some people dont enjoy good fights. Win is not enough, its have to be easy one or people say another flavour of the month dude will crush you in 15 seconds.

He did not beat 15-0 Garry in first round. Maybe he should retire because Khamzat had easy win against Whittaker.

Its same shit with Khamzat. Win is not enough. One misstep and some unfair cunt will post your bad moment gif forever.

They face tough dudes who fight back.
Why cant we take their career day by day?

I feel Gary got robbed. And i can't stand the dude, so im glad he lost, that said, that "stan" will lose against Belal, and as much as i don't like him, im looking forward to seeing this "stan" losing.
lol is this a racist post

Did anyone say Khamzat vs Burns was a bad fight?

This wasn't just a disappointing fight, it was a boring one.

Sherdog overhypes a fighter and is then shocked when said fighter has a hard fight against a good opponent.

I don't know if it's just the fickle mma fan in me now, or if I just need to give Garry credit, but damn that was an extremely underwhelming and rough performance by Rakhmanov.

I know Ian poses some problems on the feet with his movement, length and quickness, so it's understandable that output was lower than usual. Butttttttt... the grappling is the concern. Shavkat landed like 1 out of 8 TDs or some shit and got his back took too.

Dawg, if Ian Garry is taking your back and squeezing a RNC, imagine the success Belal will have once that ass is on the mat.

I'm shocked.

I'm not surprised at all anymore with how many shit threads you guys create immediately after fights. With that being said, carry on.

Yeah shavkat vs khamzat debate should be over too, shavkat is significantly less impressive
Yorue crazy, I pray Shavkat moves up to 185 one day and one rd Khamzat is still relevant.

I don't know what you were really expecting.

Shavkat is great, but he's not as good as people were hyping him up to be.

His wins weren't that amazing, even though he was finishing them. Like, Neal is probably his best win before this and Neal was landing on him plenty.

I think Belal will give him trouble, but it's still a winnable fight for Shavkat.

Consider this Shavkats Gilbert Burns fight. But you guys are all about what happened five minutes ago, so no one will remember Khamzat getting face planted and going life and death vs a natural lightweight.

Completely agree mate, great parallel

He walks through Belal, it won't be anything like Ian vs Shavkat imo.

natural LW dropped p4p #1 Usman lol, he's not a natural LW, he was dying to make weight at 155. Also gilbert is a tough style matchup due to ADCC championship level bjj, garry is just a lanky point fighter yet he still gave shavkat a tough fight, it's not the same since garry stylistically shouldn't even be that hard of a fight
Just a lanky point fighter that no one could beat until tonight.

He made some mistakes in the final round, but did enough against a dangerous opponent. He's still a contender.

No I'm not. You look as good as your opponent let's you. What if Shavkat is the 1 and Ian the 2 ? We're bout to find out. You guys don't judge this technically or athletically. You judge it based on how much fub you had watching. Ian is a defensive specialist. He doesn't get in a lot of trouble.

I wish we already had Shavkat/Khamzat, I'm not hyped now.

Me too buddy, me too. It will be so funny to watch Shavkat get absolutely besmirched

I fully expect Khamzat to humiliate Shavkat easily and early if they fight.

Not gonna be able to hold and pray Khamzat like he did Garry. In fact, I have little doubt in my mind that Garry makes a few adjustments and beats Shavkat in a rematch. He absolutely looked like the better fighter than Shavkat did even in losing

Neither of those guys looked very impressive. But I've never been that high on Ian in the first place, he constantly fights very safe, and I think that's part of what made Shavkat seem unimpressive in this fight. It's hard to get stuff done when your opponent is super defensive and not opening up much.

Lol Gary def did not win that fight. He allowed shavkat to bully him for alot of the fight
I think it came down to control time and the initiation of the takedown, Garry outstruck Shav and stuff 8 of 10 takedowns plus came the closest to finishing the fight with that RNC attempt.

Shav looked to be in control more but I don’t necessarily think he was.

Of course when Shav was in mount he had a dominant position but Garry was being very active off his back so he wasn’t being smothered or mauled.
