Maybe Ian is just as good as Shavkat?
no logic allowed.
Maybe Ian is just as good as Shavkat?
And Ian was training for buckley, the most different opponent possible to shavkathe was training for belal.
shit happens what can ya do

I think it’s just that Garry is that good. He came to win tonight, and fell a hair short. Great fight!
Shavkat and Garry have showed they have better cardio and can make weight consistently vs Khamzat despite being huge 170lb’ers.
How is Shavkat shit for having his first decision in 19 fights against a guy who is likely vastly underrated by haters.
If Khamzat fails to get the takedown and finish the fight there he’s gassing and getting priced up by either.
I mean he got hit like 150 times by the same predictable punch from the hip against a gassed guy with his arms down and like a 68 inch reach when he couldn’t secure a takedown. Same thing against off the couch Usman.
Not impressed with his IQ, I feel like he should have realized Gary was a lot stronger in the clinch after the first round and started shooting take downs way earlier.
I also remember guys like Khabib when he fought Barboza he would crowd him and give him no room to kick, Shavkat played at Gary's distance for way to long of stretches and was eating a lot of kicks as a result.
Hopefully he learns and makes adjustments its all part of becoming a champ.
Is that a thing? Was Garry greasing?I believe he would've finished it inside 3 if not for the grease.
Oh please. This Is what happens when you get sold on aura, so many fall for this. His fights with Geoff and Magny were nothing too impressive, the only impressive thing everyone threw around was his 18-0 all finish record, but of 18 only 6 were ufc fights and only one KO.
He's not bad, but I wouldn't ever have favored him over Belal, or Leon, and not even Buckley and JDM. I don't think he deserves the title shot tbh.
Yeah man I was really impressed by him blocking shots with his face against Geoff Neal, and struggling to take down Wonderboy. He's violent I Will give you that, but he's nowhere near the unbeatable boogeyman people thought he was, I mean some people said he would beat khamzat lmao.Oh please.
There was no aura about it. 100 pct finish rate is real. Undefeated. Violent ass finishes. It wasnt just made up, dummy.
Look at this guy pointing to his head like he's smart. People actually saw his fights yknow?
Where's your "shavkat isn't really that great" threads from months and years prior????
Also what were we sold??? The guy won the fuckin fight and is gonna get a title shot but your still stuck on Buckley and JDM.
Away and bow your head ya clown. Ya didn't know dick then and you certainly don't know dick now. The steppe nomads prepare a great feast upon the victors return.
Yea he is he hasn't lost yet!!!!Yeah man I was really impressed by him blocking shots with his face against Geoff Neal, and struggling to take down Wonderboy. He's violent I Will give you that, but he's nowhere near the unbeatable boogeyman people thought he was
So you guys think they are some super humans? In ur opinion goot fighter should not get hit at all good fighter should easly ragdoll and finish everyone? If fighter has hard fight he is not that good? There were people saying max hit ilia too much and he is not good just stop watching mmaI don't know if it's just the fickle mma fan in me now, or if I just need to give Garry credit, but damn that was an extremely underwhelming and rough performance by Rakhmanov.
I know Ian poses some problems on the feet with his movement, length and quickness, so it's understandable that output was lower than usual. Butttttttt... the grappling is the concern. Shavkat landed like 1 out of 8 TDs or some shit and got his back took too.
Dawg, if Ian Garry is taking your back and squeezing a RNC, imagine the success Belal will have once that ass is on the mat.
I'm shocked.
