She should be the one considered the best. She doesn't get the enough credit due to that robbery.

She looked really really good, I mean she basically outstriked Amanda who is much much bigger and is the hardest female hitter, an elite striker.

Amanda Nunes got caught every time she tried to exchange with Valentina. I don't even know wtf the judges saw

She should’ve pressed the action, instead of waiting to counter just like Nunes. You gotta beat the champ, not play it safe.

I don't feel bad for Valentina at all. She went 8 competitive rounds with a woman that has been flatlining most other competitors while being undersized. Shows that she is easily one of the top female fighters in mma.

Do we have the numbers for Schev and Nunes at 135?

She should have more aggressive at times instead of point fighting. Like point fighting is solid strategy, but, if the fight is close it certainly will go to the champ.

She seem to be relying on nunes gassing in the later rounds like the 1st fight but didn’t actually make Nunes work enough to tire her out.

2nd was close but didn’t feel Val did quite enough, it was a cagey affair.

Her fan boys are ridiculous on here. I don’t feel sorry for her tho as now she gets the credit of being the dominant champ while at the same time fighting in a wasteland of a division where J. Eye is considered a legit title contender

I remember thinking she should've got the nod against Nunes. it was a close fight though. She would've won if she was more aggressive.

Val really is something special though. Holly is a good boxer, but Val completely outclassed her with little more than a check left hook. Made Holly look like a newbie and won all 5 rounds clearly.

Also, what she did to Joanna was crazy. Literally toyed with her on the feet and ragdolled her to the ground whenever she wanted. Joanna couldn't even get her shoulders of the canvas. Val made Joanna her daughter.

The win was good but Holly is not a good boxer. Running hand pumping kiai does not a good boxer make

The TD in the fifth round was what won it for Nunes (for 2/3 judges), even though all she accomplished after it was lay and pray. It's the only time when Amanda had to attempt the TD because she felt she was losing on points.

Before people bring up GDR, that wasn't done out of necessity to win on points. That was done for an easy win and finish. It's because GDR was easy prey on the ground, not because anyone could dominate Nunes standing up.

I don't feel sorry for Valentina though. It solidified her place as Nunes' only true and current rival.

I fucking love Valentina but the 2nd fight was 48-47 for either. It was THAT close.

And I think she is the p4p WMMA fighter. Nunes is a close 2nd.

Valentina should have won the second fight. It's one of those fights where the winner Nunes was the one who moved forward more and got hit in the face a lot but scored heavy on low kicks. Valentina fought a really technical cautious fight but I guess moving forward gets you the win.

I'd take bullet in a third fight. I'm sure they'll make it eventually when there's no one left to fight. I thought she won the second fight for sure also. First fight was much closer.
