How about that Shara Bullet vs MVP matchup though?

Good on paper, but more often than not these match ups tend to be staring contests with occasional pitter patter

The end result isn't all that difficult to see coming...

Shara left the fight early because MVP's game plan was all right.

Bullet has a chance unless MVP can violently cobra-strike that one good eye.

I’ll ask the diehard Shara fanboys @HHJ @Hellowhosthat here to educate me somewhat. Has Shara faced a striker as skilled as Michael Page before? I believe not.

This is one of these rare matchups where I can’t really picture in my mind who can best impose his style on the other fighter, tbh.

This reminds me of the time Anthony Pettis randomly called out Wonderboy as his first fight up a weight class who everyone seen as an absolute mismatch where Pettis would be brutally humiliated, but the opposite happened

He knew something others didn't, I think MVP sees Shara as a tailormade match up for him and for reasons other than just he won't wrestle, he probably feels like he has the whole puzzle solved already like Pettis did vs Wonderboy

Probably not but its also kind of a different style. Both guys are flashy and unorthodox and like space to move. Shara is blind on one side which is a big problem but he def is capable of doing moves no one would expect and train for that can knock you out. Should be an interesting one ! Even if one "imposes" on the other, it can end at any time from just some crazy move and zigging/zagging wrong!

If I was Shara i'd try to take it to the ground if the possibility is there, and just light the dude up with elbows, cos MAN shara has to be one of the most savage elbowers i've seen. The fight before his last one, the guy took him down and Shara absolutley shredded the guys face so bad he just stayed buried in the guard til the round was over.

I mean thats not exactly it. Pettis took a severe beating, but pulled it out of his ass to win.

I'll be happy if Shara does that though lol

Honestly, Shara fighting every few months have def improved his game from his first UFC fight.

Still dont know if he can defend TD's worth a damn but he sure as hell fucked the guy up who took him down last time from his back.

He's also shown that he can get up. Its just that he really has no answer to the attempts.

Hopefully this will be the end of this one-eyed demon pirate

Pettis got his ass beat until he landed that superman punch.

Saw this fight when I was looking at some odds (MVP is the slight dog here) and thought: cool fight, I'd have MVP as the favourite.

His game plan was right out of his trainer's brother's fight, Rick, vs Kietsongrit.

Kiet got his ass handed to him early but was landing to the legs just like Pettis did against WB and eventually got a stoppage.

Granted that jumping punch was a bit out of Pettis' ass but he was putting in the work that doesn't get enough credit.
