If Val would have beat Nunes (I know it was close), that would have put her in the conversation. I do think she's one of the all time greats though but I can't call her the GOAT for women. I don't really like Nunes but I'd put her ahead of Val in terms of wins and dominance.

It's fine to put Nunes above her, but it's hard to put anyone else above her. The only two people who have arguments are Ronda and Cyborg.

On topic: She's 100% a top two/top three contender for that moniker. Even with her setbacks, it's difficult to look past Nunes' accomplishments.

I do think Valentina is the BEST female fighter we've ever seen compete in MMA so far, skill set wise. I also think she's still got more left in the tank, and will more than likely continue to close the gap with Nunes, but I wouldn't argue with Nunes' place being cemente as the one GOAT of WMMA (as of now).
