I am positive if Holm was still champ, then she would absolutely take the fight. But she just lost, I'd understand why Ronda wouldn't want a fight after losing to Holm either. But when both were the champs, I don't think Rousey wanted a piece of Cyborg, who was arguably the only female p4p better then her. Holm was all for it, as champ she was always looking to get the hardest tests. She's no longer on top, she needs to get the belt, then get a superfight with Cyborg.

Honestly they probably would fight her under normal cercimstances, but when that close to the belt, bragging rights don't pay the bills. I'd also say fuck Cyborg I want the title shot. You think her first fight after losing the belt should be with Cyborg in her debut match, on the fucking prelims? No waayyyy. Few wins, and get some much needed eyes on Cyborg then sure, do it up, but right now it just doesn't make sense for a host of reasons.

Totally agree, actually.
Its just great that shes allowed to fight, now. Her performances will dictate the public's demand in seeing her fight the top girls.

Right now, a minority of fans know that shes legit. After three fights it is likely that everyone will be wondering why 5 lbs is keeping us from seeing the best fightbthe best.

Holly was my guess on turning Cyborg down. The fight makes sense when Holly has the title. After losing to Tate, her and her handlers are smart enough to maneuver her on a less risky path back to the belt.
