It's a no win situation for Holly. She doesn't need to take the fight cuz it doesn't benefit her, the only person that benefits from anyone fighting Cyborg right now is Cyborg. If she can't make 135 then what's the upside? Oh you get to brag that you're the one that beat Cyborg? Bragging don't pay the bills.

She did, and probably would, but just coming off a title loss, and against Cyborg at a catchweight in her debut, on what will likely be the prelims wouldn't be very enticing for any of the top three or tp five right now.

They want Holly and Cyborg to kill each other...whoever loses will never face Ronda most likely thus they dodge one bullet....since the loser will need 2 or 3/wins to get title shot and Ronda is leaving the sport soon

This was a win-win for Holly, even if she lost. She would have the distinction of 'stepping up' to fight Cyborg, before Ronda, AND a huge paycheck to boot. To be frank, with Cyborg's reputation Holly would not have lost much ground with a loss. I'm a bit bemused at her thought process and decision on this

The UFC would be HAPPY for her to lose to Cyborg, because a humble marquee fighter they do NOT WANT, as the powers that be prefer their fighters to be egotistical, etc, etc, due to the fact that the USA REWARDS narcissistic behavior.
