HEAVYWEIGHT COACH (why the average coach shouldn't be training heavy weights)

There's probably only one person commenting on this thread who started one of the first MMA gyms in the nation and ran a record-breaking wrestling team

hint: it ain't you,

# school bell rings

There's one person who won 4 Golds and 1 Silver, had a record of 887 - 2, was undefeatd for 13 years and is regarded by the sport's governing body as the greatest Greco-Roman Wrestler since a chap called Milo.

Hint: it ain't you.

Go back to teaching high school wrestlers. That's about your limit.

Now your getting it!:)

Hmmm, so your saying that ones opinion "legitimacy" is directly tied to their accomplishments in sports
(anonymous shedog troll logic 101)

...so how many MMA fight teams have you founded/wrestling records have you broken as a head coach?

...zero?

Have you ever coached ANY combat sport?

Whats the value of YOUR opinion via your troll logic?

# got that copycat?

We get it, you dont like to run.

We get it, you dont like to run.

I CANT run because of a motorcycle accident when I was 16 however I can grapple, swim or cycle for hours and have EXCELLENT cardio

conventional wisdom suggests running is important for cardio however I [and most modern coaches] know that running is a VERY POOR FORM OF CARDIO TRAINING for MMA and all combat sports

# you DONT get it

sustained distance running IS TERRIBLE FOR COMBAT SPORTS

You're absolutely right. No wonder this guy never achieved anything in Combat Sports! All that running turned him into a week little girly-man!

he would have been EVEN better if he didn't waste time running and was NOT famous for cardio!

you should have picked this guy who was FAMOUS for punch output and cardio!

sustained running is BAD FOR COMBAT ATHLETES AND ESPECIALLY HEAVYWEIGHTS!!!!

ALI:
"I was dead tired after one round and there were 14 more to come.” At the end of the tenth, his trainer Angelo Dundee wanted the fight stopped, but Ali’s chief hanger-on Drew ‘Bundini’ Brown, fought for it continue. Dundee won out. Ali, head bowed, didn’t have the energy to protest. He had not won a single round on the judges’ cards"

So you sprint? Or you dont even sprint?

recon is fundamental...

I have always heavily recommended HIIT training [like hill sprints] and all the videos i posted advocated for them as well

I developed a wrestling specific HIIT program [10 min] then my wrestlers hit the mat and WRESTLED for 1 hr 50 min...thats why i broke all the schools 30 year records as head coach

# RECON

1st read...

2nd think

3rd respond

* running bad
HIIT good

remember this photo i keep posting

marathon vs sprint.jpg

# got that?

Speaking of recon:
What is the name of the school that you claim to be coaching at? How many years have you coached? Let us verify your claims at success.

Also didnt you say:
"I was also a super-heavyweight averaging around 20 to 30% body fat."

Your coach probably wanted to save your live from heart attack or high blood preasure. Jesus christ a teenager hitting the 30% body fat mark?

25/30% bodyfat is average for a pro football player

Do your recon

If you want an ad nauseam interrogation of my background just read this

SheDoggers are always desperate to try to disqualify your opinion based on your personal competitive background which of course is a juvenile fallacy to start with

My coach wanted to get paid for watching tv and smoking cigarettes while the athletes ran half their practice away

When I took over the program I completely eliminated running and replaced it with a 10-minute wrestling specific warm-up program...
That's why I was the record-breaking coach for Atherton High School Louisville Ky throughout the early 2000s and a founding father of American mixed martial arts

You not a pro football player, you were just a fat kid. Heck why stop at pro football players? Post sumo player pics. Also saying the avg pro football player is nonsense because most of the fat guys play on the line.

Btw you are not Andy Ruiz, you are not bartolo colon, you are not Charles Barkley, or any other chubby athelete who were the exception to the rule.
You were just a fat high school kid who didn't like to run.

Since you are marking grandiose claims don't complain when people try to verify your claims.

Calling yourself a founding father of a martial arts school? Who the fuq speaks like this?
