What exactly is wrong with the title? Did Hamas launch a surprise attack on Israel or not? Did Israel declare war after that or not? I'm confused about what's wrong with the title of the thread there's nothing factually incorrect about it at all.

It wasn't a surprise attack, Israel had ample advanced knowledge with specifics of the attack. It also wasn't the start of the war, this had been ongoing well before 10/7.

Israel capitalized on Hezbollah terrorists specifically asking it's operatives to ditch cell phones and adopt archaic technology nobody else uses and then Booby trapped the supply with explosives only strong enough to hurt the terrorists holding them.
