Does Mandy Patinkin have a valid point?

International Law permits armed resistance by an occupied people against their occupier.

A lot of military analysts consider Oct 7th to be a well executed counter offensive.
Yeah targeting innocents is well executed counter offensive as is taking hostages. And it certainly worked well for them longer term too. Their leaders should be proud. Oh wait, they’re dead?

I think its possible they didn't plan the attack to be quite the scale it was with non Hamas individuals also getting involved and perhaps also not to break though Israeli defences as easily as they did but my guess is really they did in exactly because they wanted to draw Israel into urban fighting and also hurt into damaging its international reputation further.

Really I'd say the intension behind these attacks was to upend the status quo, a situation in which the Israelis were running Gaza like an open air prison whilst slowly ethnically cleansing and colonialising the west brand whilst the US worked to normalise relationships with the rest of the middle east.

Hamas are obviously a very ruthless and brutal organisation but ultimately there the by-product of the environment created the the Israeli's and there supporters.
Everything is Israel’s fault. Never the fault of the terrorists or their supporters and enablers.

So after cutting off food and supplies going into Gaza, now Israel is shutting off electricity from going in. They've already been destroying water sources.

This genocide is looking a lot like genocide...
I couldn't imagine the mask sliding off now with the full and unwavering support coming from the US federal government being put front and center. America first policy in action.

This is all you have to offer? basically no rebuttal at all besides whining?

Its really hard to make an argument against what I posted isnt it? that the Israeli's clearly hold the power in this situation and have done for decades, plus of course they've engaged in much higher level terrorism themselves across that time.

Thats the difference between being critical of Hamas and thinking there actually the driving force of this situation.

Collective punishment is illegal under international law and considered a war crime.

Meanwhile, Netanyahu: "Hamas won't do as we say so nobody can have any electricity."

Lock this piece of garbage up and throw away the key.

lol.

It’s really hard to make an argument against fools who blame Israel for the actions of terrorists. You are not critical of Hamas if you literally blame Israel for their actions.

Hamas are the elected governing body neighboring Israel. The idea that Israel is at fault for limiting their autonomy is ludicrous. And the WB is so ethnically cleansed that the arab population there keeps increasing.

Which innocents?

There now with Trump administration for Israel will be easier.

President Trump told that there might be solutions in problematic region Gaza.
Also had signed deliveries orders to supply Israel with 1000 - 2000 lbs and 2000 - 1000 lbs bombs.
Speaker Mike Johnson is satisfied that Israel will get new 4 000 000 000 $ USD bill and MAGA looks that soon will prepare next bill for Israel in order to help them.

Kool story but which innocents? The evidence shows that the ravers at Nova were victims of the Hannibal doctrine and everyone else that died were armed settlers, policemen and IDF soldiers.
Evidence shows that a portion certainly were, but you can't quantify that exactly especially since the evidence was buried, and that also ignores people being caught up in the crossfire which was likely the bulk of the fatalities. Hamas certainly deserves blame for the deaths that they caused on that day, Israel letting it happen not withstanding.

That doesn't give Israel a greenlight to commit war crimes though, which they are obviously doing.

Well when the "victims" aren't letting independent media verify the veracity of their claims I tend to think that they have something to hide.

That much was obvious when you saw the extent of damage to all of those vehicles. I can't imagine that much carnage was caused by guys on hangliders with AK-47's wearing flip flops and Adidas sweatpants. Looks more like the work of Apache helicopters, at least a portion of it. To what extent I can't say with certainty.

Forward strategic thinking really isn't their forte.
Who would have thought attacking another country and killing and raping their civilians would result in this? Especially given their history.
