I don’t know what he could have possibly thought would happen. Israel has a long established history of seeking extreme retribution. I’m guessing he just thought Iran would get involved on their behalf or something. Maybe his regret is really just overestimating his allies commitment

Western media like the BBC have unfortunately been working against* Israel and for the Palestinians throughout this conflict. Being incredibly biased in their reporting and pushing a very slanted agenda.

* when I say working for I don't mean in the literal sense obviously. It's a figurative term. Before some autist tries to attack that.

The Middle East editor of the BBC is a Jew called Raffi Berg...

Stop talking shit.

Let's consider if the Oct 7th counter offensive hadn't happened...

Palestinians would still be getting oppressed
Palestinians would still be getting shot, bombed and killed and their infrastructure being compromised
The Jews would still be trying to ethnically cleanse Gaza and the West Bankand pursuing the goal of a Greater Israel
Normalisation with Saudi may have happened.
Israel's standing in the world would be unchanged from what it was previously.

Since Oct 7th, all the above has STILL happened but the IDF has been exposed as being a useless fighting force, lost thousands of terrorists and had tens of thousands crippled permanently, lost its standing across the world in terms of geopolitics and popular support, normalisation is dead unless the Pali's get a state and the Iranians are far closer to nuclear deterrence than ever before (and the Saudi's will follow suit if Iran get's one).

Hamas have been shown to be hero's (and NOT terrorists) and the Israeli hasbara re: merciless savages has been exposed by their own prisoners of war.

The "FO" part has been very successful for Hamas tbh.

I know. Definitely thought all the other countries would join in and found out just how little the Pallies are liked by their neighbours.

Hilarious how the the most staunchly anti-Trump people have complete cognitive dissonance when it comes to Israel.

"I'm against human rights abuses and ethnic cleansing!! ... except for Israel."

"Let's stop funding foreign wars!!!... except give Israel a blank check."

Nothing to see here.

They were found to have breached their charter for their reporting over 1500 times early in the conflict.

Stop talking shit. 😉

I think its possible they didn't plan the attack to be quite the scale it was with non Hamas individuals also getting involved and perhaps also not to break though Israeli defences as easily as they did but my guess is really they did in exactly because they wanted to draw Israel into urban fighting and also hurt into damaging its international reputation further.

Really I'd say the intension behind these attacks was to upend the status quo, a situation in which the Israelis were running Gaza like an open air prison whilst slowly ethnically cleansing and colonialising the west brand whilst the US worked to normalise relationships with the rest of the middle east.

Hamas are obviously a very ruthless and brutal organisation but ultimately there the by-product of the environment created the the Israeli's and there supporters.
