I wonder how Reebok feels about this?
They have to know that this deal has only been viewed negatively in every way by MMA fans.
The same fanbase they were hoping to sell to.

Who does Reebok truly hope to sell to? They couldn't hold onto the NFL jersey contract after it expired. They have no sport focus. Their designs are a joke. They are neither fashionable nor considered advanced in athletic technology. Pretty much a degenerating company that only exists because once upon a time they created the Reebok pumps.

This deal was always going to be a major disaster for whatever company went onboard. Reebok also should have been smarter when it came to uniform design. How this range of fight gear got released baffles me.

def agree that no company will succeed selling a "UFC Jersey" regardless of the fighter. but the price seems so low that they could have gotten any company to do it. 10 million a year or what not is the price for a single high level athlete. and reebok got the entire UFC for that price. if the exact same gear was labeled "Under Armour" i guarantee it would be selling better. and im not a big fan of their lines although they do have my three fav athletes(non-mma) in brady(huge michigan fan season tickets ), curry( grew up in the bay) and spieth(even after his collapse hes still a bad ass golfer)

GSP moves to Bellator it seriously changes the landscape of mma

likely they will work it out with he UFC
GSP will be given a special deal so as to not upset the applecart

That would be healthy for competition but I can't see it happening. bellator is not going to shell out what he's going to want. Just because they are owned by viacom doesn't mean they have an open check book. Their budget couldn't handle it.

I think he once said on the MMA Hour that he has an old, special contract and would be treated differently if he ever comes back. Anyone game in the legal/law stuff? What does it mean if he left the UFC after the Hendricks fight with fights left on his contract and the UFC applying the Reebok deal in the meantime? Must the UFC follow his old contract or can they refuse and force new negotiations?

Signing GSP wouldn't budge Viacom's stock. It would do wonders for Bellator, but I'm guessing Viacom has Bellator on a tight budget.

He is a control fighter and he knows his style won't work against the top WW's today.

He physically can not hurt Hendricks,Wonderboy, and Lawler they way they can him he just has to hope the judges score he has enough "control" to win
