**GSP confirms contract negotiations with UFC**

Damn, I break this news to you heathens out of the kindness of my heart and only get 7 likes? Dissapointed in my Sher bros, this is the equivalent of not tipping your server (NTTAWWT)

Disgraceful.

And people use this place as their first stop source for MMA news, yet don't like the people that bring the news to them.

Just know that your work is appreciated, from me atleast lol.

Make it happen Dana. If Reebok got in the way it would destroy what is left of its credibility in the MMA community.

They are not announcing it yet but Lawler vs GSP is happening at UFC 200, mark my words.

We don't tip in this country bro so fuck you and your ebegging.

That's next!? The homeless begging for likes on thier Facebook instead of aggregating spare change to buy booze? What a fucking world!

You don't get likes by asking for likes. Just like sex.

GSP is one of the rare guys that is in a position to change things. I'm hoping he works something that benefits every fighter and not just some individual deal for himself.

He doesn't need to come back so if he does, make the sport better.

I hope for the opposite. GSP is under no obligation to get better deals for anyone else. It is on each individual fighter to get the best deal for him/herself.

I'm guessing he wouldn't come back unless he's dominating top guys in the gym.

Damn you Reebok!!!!

I wonder how Reebok feels about this?
They have to know that this deal has only been viewed negatively in every way by MMA fans.
The same fanbase they were hoping to sell to.
i dont think they care, they're getting exposure - not everyone is an internet person following everything - but reebok gets eyeballs on their product when the ufc is on - its great for the ufc bc they basically take the sponsors out of the fighters pockets and funnel them into their profits - i dnot think anyone expected it to be positively viewed, they knew the impact it would have on fighters, im sure they had all the calcs, and they moved forward anyway

You can definitely get sex by asking for it. Most people who want more sex could easily get it if they just asked more openly. Lots of horny people just want someone to break the ice.

But I get the sentiment, neediness is usually unattractive.

It's like nobody in this thread has heard of the champion's clause. Gsp is not going anywhere.
Perhaps the Reebok deal could be an out, but unlikely. And Reebok would probably make a gi for him.

If you already kinda deserve a like/sex then yeah... But if you just go around begging...

depends on what leverage GSP has. His old contract might be still in play. GSP has huge leverage from the stand point he is very popular and would lend a lot of credibility to another org if he chose to move.

There is absolutely no point for him to go anywhere else. What is he really going to do in Bellator? There are a handful of WW that could have a competitive fight with him and none of them are in Bellator or anywhere else.
