They say that because they're supposed to. Privately both think they themselves are the GOAT, they just don't want to say so publicly because they'll look arrogant.

Kinda like when someone holds a record in a sport and when it looks like someone might break it, and they get asked about it, you know deep down they don't like it, but publicly they say the right things.

If you watch these posers carefully not a damn one will be as happy for Assinall as they pretended they would be. They will stay permanently affixed to the Jones train slurping burping hating and waiting. The wait is over. His career is over and time to find a new identity. Being a Jones hater at this point makes a person look like a desperate stalker worried about a fucking non fighter
 
What I don´t get is the fact that every Jones fan jumping right out of the gate to defend this POS for EVERY SHIT he has done, no matter what.
