Also unlike the Olympics or trad martial arts where honor and pride matter mma is a trash sport where you put it all on the line for money. It takes a toll and losses will end your career and leave you broke and broken. If you aren't doing everything in your power to win and stay on top you are a fool. I also suspect that almost all of them are on some sort of peds it's just some fighters can afford better ones or have better tricks in their camps to beat the tests. Winning is all that matters in mma.

Jon Jones is a scumbag, a cheater a woman abuser and a criminal. He's also the greatest mma fighter who has ever fought to date. The sport is littered with roiders who didn't accomplish half as much so perhaps the roids aren't the only reason he's great. If I put you on all the Jones gear right now would you be able to do what he did ? I sure as shit wouldn't.

One thing I've noticed about successful people from unhappy people is that the successful ones have no problem putting their ego aside and give credits where credits due.

I know so many broke unhappy people that are working a 9-5 and they absolutely hate it and you just can't rationalize with them. They're extremely emotional.

All the successful people I know don't have a problem separating the person from the athlete.

Yep. When the best of the best all acknowledge Jonny Bones as the best to do it - that says alot.Its not just one outlier either -ive seen plenty of top mma guys all say Jones as #1 or at least have him in their top 3 . As far as Roids, like Diaz said it, "they all on gear " of some kind at one point or another. If being on gear was totally outside the norm -he'd be a shunned pariah and that would be the first thing all these top ATG's would say. It would be like all the top cyclists stating Lance Armstrong was the best to do it -he was utterly dropped and wiped from memory immediately.
