Going Rogue

Funny story...I was actually at the store yesterday and was buying that organic steel cut oats, and on the front of the container, it read:

Organic steel-cut
OATSMOTHERFUCKER!

Or something like that, my memory isn't that great.

I've had that brand. They're good.

I'm off to go OHP.

Sounds like my kinda OATS.

When you get back (and later) I am going to pick your brain fatty, I need some heeeeeaaaaaalp cause yer smart.

Overhizzle Prizzle and simlizzle:

Standing OHP

95 x 5 (strict)
135 x 3 (strict)
185 x 3 (strict)
205 x 1 (strict)
215 x 95% (strict and literally 2” from lockout. The rep took about 8 seconds)
225 x 1 (push)
205 x 1 (push)
185 x 8 (push)
155 x 4 (strict) + 5 (push)
135 x 7 (strict) + 3 (push)

Standing Wider Grip Behind-Neck OHP

95 x 10 (strict)
95 x 8 (strict)
95 x 6 (strict)

Seated Dumbell Press (about 10% incline)

60’s x 7
70’s x 6
70’s x 6

Power Shrugs

225 x 8
315 x 6
405 x 6
455 x 5
225 x 8

Rear and Side Laterals

Standing Ab-Wheel Roll-Outs

4 sets at roughly 75-80% full ROM. Used wall as stopper, per bacon’s advice.

Tabata Burpees

Tayon hit a strict press of 185 x 3 and a push press of 215 x 1. I predict this will be the first exercise he passes me on.

My wife and I are going to the Tigers game tonight. I won tickets in a drawing here at work and they’re supposed to be badass seats in Champion’s Row. Free food, private bar and restaurant and an outdoor balcony at third base where the actual seats are located. GO TIGERS! God, it feels good to have baseball back in Detroit.

Bet that will make you feel good. The first time one of my wrestlers threw me to my back with a move I showed him, it was awesome....I almost cried....he was a heavyweight.

I'm going to push press 265 tonight.

Going to see the Tigers would be sweet.

Yeah, it'll be cool. If he starts passing me on multiple lifts, however, I may have to sabotage him.

Well, the Tigers lost, but so did the Twins so we continue on in our AL Central holding pattern. Unfortunately, the cunt-bag Yankees won big, so they gain a game. On a more positive note...

Over the course of nine innings, in chronological order:

Beef Soft Taco x 1
Sliced Peaches x 1 bowl
Seafood Cannelloni x 2
Side of Green Beans x 1
Beer x 1
Chili Dog x 1
Peanut Butter Cookie x 1
Pepsi x 1
Beer x 1
Cannoli x 1
Pepsi x 1
Pepperoni and Ham Pizza x 1 slice
Beef Soft Taco x 1
Bowl of Chili x 1
Carrot Cake x 1 big ass slice

This is no joke and I feel I'm a better man for it. Do you think this is what John Berardi would call a "cheat meal"?

For Berardi this is a cheatweek packed in nine innings.
Food is meant to be enjoyed.
Maybe this is a way to sabotage Tayon. Bring shitty tasty food to the gym every day...

2 beers??

Homo.

It was the only thing we had to pay for and at $5.50/beer, and I only had enough cash for 2 each for me and wife. Not a very good excuse, I know.

One of these things is not like the others...

Were those party room tickets? If so I hate the Tigers even worse. At cardinal games (party room) they serve free beer as well, till after the game is over. (no 7th inning bull shit) It's budweiser, but it's free.

It was called the Champions Club. Kind of like a giant posh suite for multiple seat owners. Bar with plasmas, buffet, etc. Very nice/very expensive (apparently). BTW, How the hell do you hate the Tigers? We've sucked for so long and haven't sniffed the playoffs since '87 -- how do you not like their story? Do you realize we lost 119 games just three years ago? People are supposed to hate the Yankees, not the Tigers. You anger me, jk... you anger me.

Lunchtime vendor crap. Missed workout. Will make up for it tomorrow.

JK claims to be a Cardinal fan. But for most of his (and my life) we lived within walking distance of Kaufman (Royals) Stadium. The Tigers and the Royals have arguably been the worst two teams in baseball since the late 80's. JK's hatred for the Tigers represents his closeted affection for the Royals. Our team may not be better than yours....but dammit, WE SUCK TOO!

I like to watch Baseball when I have trouble sleeping, it knocks me the fuck out.

It used to put me to sleep too. But then I started playing softball....now it's mildly entertaining.

Lol bacon, i was NEVER a Royals fan. The 0-2 Chiefs however, now there's a team that doesn't know how to get it all together. Chiefs for Superbowl 68!!

I don't *hate* the tigers but I don't like them eaither. I guess i'm impartial. just no free beer upset me.
