I just watched this. You’re fast I think it’s been online for like 3 hours now.

Looks freaking amazing. Like a horror movie. They also do a great job teasing us not showing us any of the good stuff.

This looks genuinely good. Will try to catch it in a theater once it gets an international release, we've got a few here that shows stuff like this. Looks like it deserves to be seen in a theater.
 
This has that eerie feel of the original... that most installments of teh franchise didn't quite hit teh mark on.

Imo... it's that eerie feeling that gave teh monster its emotional feeling of dominance & legendary status, that keeps the original so beloved to this day.

Teh graphics of the time of the original were limited... so it will be sweet to see them mix that eerie feeling with a modern graphical take. I wonder if they'll take him out with a flesh eating bacteria again.
 
Now this looks incredible! I love Godzilla and wow, I’m excited. I haven’t cared for modern Hollywood’s take on Godzilla so I have high hopes for this one. Especially excited that it feels like the Godzilla franchise is going back to its roots.

I hope my local Imax theater shows this. My wife already gave me permission to go see it, I have a little baby so I have skipped every movie release this year but Godzilla is the one thing I love more than pretty much every other franchise. When I was a kid I would watch the movies on repeat, I also remember being on vacation in Florida and begging my parents to buy me this book. I still have it today and its quite valuable now. I would read it obsessively and look at all the monster information. Anyway, I'm very happy Godzilla is back and more popular than ever. We have a Hollywood film coming up in 2024, an Apple show in two months and this movie in three month from Toho.

Funny, I'm in the same situation. Have a new baby and this will be the first movie I see in theatre in literally years - other than taking my older kid to the Paw Patrol movie in about a week (ugh). Still have my VHS copy of Godzilla 1985 too...

Looks fucking quality, actually. I know it's highly unlikely but if this has another monster in it.........I will jizz.....
