He's a problem for 170 for the next few years, so I'm hoping he makes it to a title shot before he inevitably has to move up.

He is coming off 3 first round TKOs and 7-0 in the UFC.
He just walked thru a guy with #2 next to his name.

He should be booked for a title shot already.

Instead we have talk about a guy with 1 win in the last 5 years or so who has to walk down stairs backwards getting a title shot.

Oh I agree, it should have been Morales vs Islam pre-Ramadan, but Team Eagle needs 6 month camps.
There's still a chance that someone high up in the UFC realizes that Ali needs to have his leash tightened and they in no way shape or form give Marty a shot at gold, but I won't be surprised.

Yeah. They are pretty much running the Floyd Mayweather play book for career management.

Fight the fights you know you can win on your own terms and timeline.

It's annoying as shit as a fan but I do understand the fighters and managers perspective on it.



Unfortunately ... the UFC should be telling them to fuck off and in some ways the ufc administration is as bad or worse when it comes to prioritizing the sport and all that.

If they felt like they could make money off Usman, they would do it. My hope it that the fan ba flash has been negative enough that they pass on that horrible idea.

He has been doing judo since he was in diapers.


Honestly it says something that people now think of him as a striker.

He already had all that judo experience and wrestling experience when he got triangled in like 30 seconds by an absolute can. The reason people think think him as a striker is because that's what he's been in mma. He still has a lot to prove in regards to mma grappling. Hopefully he keeps knocking people out so we don't see it tested.
