Fury by KO

Usyk? Fury & Joshua are much more popular. The only reason he doesn't have more fights at heavyweight is because he started his career at cruiserweight and remained there until he cleaned out the division. Another thing is that he usually only fights once a year. This is the first time since 2018 that he'll have fought twice in a year.
i meant fury, ya, he's not the champ i know, but he's the main face of the division for the last few years. Kinda ridiculous.

A lot of fans and the industry itself really want Fury vs Joshua. It's still a bigger fight than Fury vs Usyk even though Joshua just got KO'd in his last fight. Several years ago there wasn't a bigger fight in boxing.

i don't think i saw the dubois fight, gosh, i'm so out of touch admittedly.

It was all one-way traffic other than a good shot Joshua landed just before getting KO'd.
watching the first fury-usyk fight again now, fury's hands did look faster than I remember, he won the first but all those antics just show he's not confident to me. I'm too hard on Fury but there's reasons for that.

Fury's hands did look fast. That was surprising. What could explain the transformation between the Ngannou fight and Usyk? Actually training for his opponent combined with PEDs. We know Fury is no stranger to them (nandrolone).

i didn't consider that, i don't know if there is a ped that helps handspeed. we know he took them though. maybe it's because he lost weight, (if he did). So far, i'm four rounds in, neither guy really is throwing a whole lot and Fury has the edge, all the while making the smaller guy press. Fury not fighting a southpaw the way that the experts always said, he's fights just like he would a regular fighter but his jab isn't really landing or anything and he's not throwing any hooks.

Fury has had issues with southpaws before like he did against Wallin. That's part of the reason why I favored Usyk to beat him.

no doubt about it in my mind, he won the first half of the fight. Neither guy is really doing a lot effective but Tyson is landing the better punches, a few solid uppercuts. Usyk has already complained about behind the head shots a few times, I never think that's good unless the blows are just so repetitive and damaging that they shouldn't be ignored.

Usyk got off to the better start in the fight. Fury started coming on in round 4 or 5 I believe. This is typical of an Usyk fight to lose the middle rounds. As Andre Ward says, the fight doesn't really start until the second half. That's where Usyk shines.

ya know, i'm at the point he got knocked down in, as soon as he threw that silly combo i thought, "uh oh" because it was a lot like the pitter patter that Ali threw at Frazier in the 11th round, just play punches, way too close to the guy to be throwing play punches.

I hate to say it, Fury can win the rematch, this fight was close and Fury is really making the fight up to the point I'm watching. He still does so many stupid things that he'll probably find a way to lose again. But, the non-dramatic parts of the fight he's winning. Usyk is doing a find job of staying in his face but he's not throwing enough off of that.

Fury can win if he's able to impose his size. He wasn't able to last time. His problem is that he can't match Usyk's stamina even if his size helps to neutralize his skill advantage. Another issue is that he often gets hurt or dropped. Now Usyk knows that he can badly hurt him and will likely approach the rematch differently. Reportedly Fury is going to come in heavier for this one. Like 12 pounds or so. That's either going to work in his favor or it'll be a huge mistake. I'm thinking it'll be a mistake and it certainly won't help his stamina any.

Usyk took the momentum and the fight, but it was close. Fury has a shot but again, he finds ways to make things hard. And for whatever reason, he doesn't seem to do anything different fighting the southpaw. The uppercuts are nice and in my viewing exp, one of the underated shots for either guy to land when there is a difference in stance. Hector Camacho, reputed powder puff puncher, staggered Chavez with his uppercut and finished off Ray Leonard with it. The difference in stance makes that a good one for either guy.

Fury sounds like he's mentally ready but he still might get tagged and put on queer street. Without the ref intervening, that woulda probably been it, he took about 3 clean shots that hurt him, one after the other.

The uppercut is always going to be there for Fury due to the significant height difference mainly. It's always easier to land against a much shorter man. Just like the overhand is the shot you'd use against a much taller guy along with going to their body to bring their head down. Dempsey & Marciano used to do these things well.

is that one single person....LOL

who is that BTW?

and i dont watch any specific pundits, i just watch what i find or what gets presented to me

it took you a whole day to find it BTW, time well spent
You asked for an example so I gave you one dick head. Directly disproving you, quite easily that this was 'in my head' as you declared. I invented it apparently, and in a random doc I'm watching I hear it again. Like I've been hearing it.

I've heard tons say Usyk is unbeatable, I'm not gonna go around collecting every fkn example for you. What an utter knob head you are.

And it didn't 'take me all day', I was watching it randomly and it popped out. I don't spend my day looking stuff up for some imbecile. I have a job.

they always say to fight a southpaw, keep the toe outside of his, land the right and the hook and forget about the jab. tyson did none of those, didn't even try those things. then, he's the one moving, again, as we've said, why is he the one moving whent he's the bigger guy? It's very strange. It's not like he's not a dangerous guy with his size, just listen to some of the shots he was landing on Wilder in fight 2. But, he just seems to like to slap and move.

that chaotic bloke, his head well and truly fell off didnt it

when he realised everyone was calling him out for talking shite, everyone was a cunt....lol
No not everybody. Mainly you. There's people agreeing with me here too. Stop tryna rewrite history you conniving little wanker.

how can usyk be unbeatable, he could have lost the last fight without the big round and the momentum change, that was a competitive fight. Fury can win it, i just don't think he will. He'll do some great things and then, he'll do what he usually does, inexplicably throw a monkey wrench into it all to make it hard for himself. Maybe it's self-sabotage, ya know, self sabotage is common, I do it all the time with my mouth, i don't even know i'm doing it.

problem is, Fury is hard to like and he's hard to root for, that's why we don't wanna see the guy win. Ok, he's not a bad guy but is he the guy we want as the champ? Usyk is professional, humble, consistent, predictable, then we have Fury who will go lengths to find a way to fuck himself over.
