Francis Ngannou: First PFL Opponent to Receive $2 Million Guarantee

Sergei Pavlovich should try to do the same thing since Jones refuses to fight him too. Anything less than a title shot with Jones is Jones ducking and the UFC shafting him.

So you cooked up a story and dropped us the six of us into a meat grinder. What happened to you Fioretti? You used to be someone I could trust.

You're one ugly muthafucka.

What the hell am I missing with this supposedly "insanely lucrative" deal Francis got?

There's not a single person on this planet he could fight (besides Jon Jones) that would generates tens of millions of dollars and he doesn't even have a proposed opponent.

I mean seven figures are great but only as long as PFL is obliged to get him n number of fights a year.

Does anyone know if that clause is in the contract? If not he would just become an advertising mascot for PFL.

Wasn’t it something half foot in like a 3 fight deal but he’s allowed to box before he ever does mma for them if he wants… as if he’s anticipating another possible addition to the mma graveyard alongside the gravestones of pride, strike force, elite Fc, affliction, golden boy mma, bodog, IFL, eagle Fc(ya I know it’s kinda around) dream, sharkfights, yamma pit fighting, etc.

PFLs burial plot might already be picked out. They might have just made a purchase agreement for it in the form of an agreement to pay through the nose for Francis to fight “who the fook is that guy” or a washed up mid 40s plus year old if we get a werdum type.

If frankis gets easy plooked by old man werdum I can picture it also instantly plooking PFL into closing shop like when kimbo got plooked by Seth petrizelli which simultaneously plooked eliteXC

and this guy has a strong capacity for mind over matter.

So I don't bet against that guy anymore. He's already achieved more than any of his doubters would have been able to do in his circumstances. His mind is special. I don't think he's like us. And kudos to him for it!
Frank’s mind?

Imagine if you did a theoretical dr frankenstein brain swap and put Frank’s combat mind, knowledge, etc.. into the body of say an average framed bantamweight or something, where he can’t just brute force everything and has to rely more on skill…How does he do? Does he get round 1 flatline KTFOed into the shadow realm and or grapple plooked n subbed by regional level fighters… probably

I believe it was either a 2 or 3 fight deal. So in theory, he could make his money and leave. The question is the board member deal. No one knows if it's a lifetime appointment or what.

Francis deal contracted at the premium agreed but in sponsorship they went to the mattress and now with time they will see the dividends but the box also will show if it does or not and it’s tough to know which it can if the loss is one relevant to broad spacing definition while keeping the ratios for the lateral spreads,

Nobody can know the exact number without seeing the contract but of course they would have an amount per fight and a certain number of fights over the course of the contract. Otherwise a promoter can sign a fighter and lock him or her up (keeping the competition from having them) but never schedule a fight so they have no cost.

In Francis case it seems the eggplant will salute other pigeons.

Even if it doesn't, if they don't make a good faith effort to honor the contract he can sue them and win in court.

However, if they are bankrupt, it won't matter. It is an interesting subject. Dana says he is required to offer a certain number of fights per year or something, but that is nebulous. What little I know about the nature of contracts is that there has to be something real and definite at stake, or there is no contract at all. Vague promises don't qualify. It does appear that fight contracts have a sort of gray area on this issue. I wish I could enunciate this thought better, but I'm kind of tired.
