Francis Ngannou: First PFL Opponent to Receive $2 Million Guarantee

median is very different that average. And if you are not an idiot you know the difference.
"The NBA is easily the highest paid sport but the majority of players make less than 2 million"

wanna bet your left nut on this statement you made?

Yes many players rarely are on the bench. They only make the team when other players are injured. They don't play so you don't notice them. Everything I said was true.

I think Andre arlovski gets dusted off to fight Francis. It would be cool if they could attract a high level boxer to fight Francis. Not saying Tyson Fury, but somebody else. 2 million is not bad and if you win, you take Francis place.

I love how 2 millions is a lot of money by mma standard

if it's in another major sport this would be peanut pays
wut? the average nba player's salary is 9.6 million
you have to be at the end of the bench or rookie to only make 2 millions, rookie minimum is 1 million, vet minimum is 2.7 million a year
Why would he win the same as those guys when he only has a match once a year? How many matches do those guys have in a year? Come on dude, think about it a little: How much money is Ngannou generating for PFL if he is only in one event? How many tickets are being sold for him and how many tickets are being sold to watch NBA players?

He should never win anything as close to those guys because he doesn't train and perform anything as close to those guys. He is going to have an 8 week camp in mid 2024, will those guys in that much more popular sport train for just 8 weeks and play once to get paid that?

Ngannou is going to do this in the first 10 seconds of the fight against Bruno Capelozza or some other bum that wins their tournament next year and will get paid 8 million

And the bum is going to get paid 2 million for that. Way overpaid IMO

PFL actually seems interesting.

UFC won't be able to stay credible in MMA if they continue to do fights that draws most numbers and ignore any kind of sporting justice in who gets to fight who. It will slowly turn into WWE.

Who's the credible opponent for Francis in PFL?

Isn't Francis in boxing just WWE matchmaking?

I don't know actually so i might be wrong. Just read on wiki about PFL that they will have some kind of system/series that decides who fight who and i miss a MMA organization with a sporting based system and not popularity/viewing based system.
