Francis Ngannou: First PFL Opponent to Receive $2 Million Guarantee

well if no one is willing to do it, those 2 million will be mine

We want to see the best fight, but shit-pay isn't going to attract the best.

UFC relies on their ability to convince people that glory and achievement is worth more than getting paid a fair share.

Who is worth the $2,000,000 opponent pay? I like Francis but I think PFL will regret this signing sooner than later
Gotta take risks to be successful. No one gets crazy rich off of being mediocre.

Looking forward to fresh PFL Ngannou highlights.

Lol just because one is born in a barn doesn’t make one a horse. Bravo for one of the most retarded comments ever.

it’s quite literally a retort to thinking I’m somehow a new fan because I don’t think Francis cares about fighting someone he utterly destroyed. Congrats on being both an idiot and a hypocrite lmao

Or, it may make current top ranked UFC signees nearing the end of their contract STRONGLY consider a move to the PFL. This could turn out being costly to the PFL, or actually getting them a few solid signings.
It’s definitely going to end up costing the PFL a lot of money but that’s the gamble they are making. They could go under but they could under anyway if they don't do anything. This is their shot and they're taking it.

Who the fuck wants to see 'em?
Since this is the only movie you know the quotes from,I really gotta scrape to find shit we aint used over and over. At least watch some other Guy Richie films.

Personally,I think knives are a good idea. Big fuck off shiny ones. Knives are good, cos they dont make any noise. And the less noise they make, the more like we are to use em. Shut em right up.

Guns for show. Knives for a pro.

PFL actually seems interesting.

UFC won't be able to stay credible in MMA if they continue to do fights that draws most numbers and ignore any kind of sporting justice in who gets to fight who. It will slowly turn into WWE.

Not too sure why PFL gave up the house. When ONE, Bellator, and BKFC backed out who were they bidding against?

Ngannou isn't even a huge star, like McGregor is/was, per se. Even he didn't get the benefits he was requesting from Dana. I really don't think Ngannou has a realistic sense of self-worth from a perspective other than his own.

Promotion centered sport is still the issue here, he still needs a guy that is not signed at this moment so they can sign him, that limits the name quality by a lot.

They definitely will when it sells like....less than 150k and they are on the hook for a 10 mil pay out for 1 fight

It's just my favorite movie. I'm versed on others, fella. I specialize in Van Damme, Arnold, and various comedies.

That'll make you Jackson? You look like a Jackson!

So you cooked up a story and dropped us the six of us into a meat grinder. What happened to you Fioretti? You used to be someone I could trust.

So, they will pay him around 8 million and 2 million to the other guy? Imagine if they decided to steal several mid level UFC fighters instead. 50 legit UFC fighters around or entering the top 15 but that are not established top contenders, and you pay them 100.000 per fight, and they fight twice a year. That's 10 millions right there.

I feel it would have been smarter to have a legit league instead of one single Ngannou fight that will cost them 10 millions.

Yes what a great idea.

PFL: hello Brock, we understand you are under contract with the WWE who part of the same company that the UFC is under after the 21 billion dollar merger with Endeavor. Even given those circumstances that you can't contractually fight for us we are still going to offer you a whopping 2 million dollars when you already make multiple times that.

Brock: bork1}<{Heymansnicker}>

In all fairness I keep up with WWE enough to have not known that, but I understand now after doing some research.
