Nice to see Paul making a late run to unseat Pogacar as Cyclist of the Year.

If there was a few more weeks left in the season he could score more wins than the whole Red Bull team. Maybe Remco made a mistake and joined a crappy team???? Is too late to ask forgiveness from Lefevere??

I checked MVDP's 2025 calendar, and I think he's done for this year. Anybody or any event worth watching? All I see isSuperprestige Ruddervoorde atm.

I think Remco could be a great cyclocross rider. Not enough long steep climbs to stifle him. Lots of bursts in-between laps which favors him. @Videer

Cyclocross involves not crashing. Not good for Remco.

Magnier takes the Guangxi final stage to finish this season with 19 wins. 5/6 Tour of Guangxi, 4/6 in Cro Race and 4/5 in Tour of Slovakia.
Probably the best late season win harvest of modern ages.

Teams with less wins this season: Alpecin (18), Groupama (15), EF (10), Movistar (9), Cofidis (9), Arkea (9), Bahrain (8) , PicNic (4) and Intermarche (4)

Watching the Tour of Holland was a complete mind-fuck because it was very reminiscent of racing that I did. Obviously the racing is much faster. I have a hard time imagining those tricky circuits at much higher speed. The roads look to be much smoother and of course they have better tire tech with lower pressure, but those roads are super narrow and this kind of racing is much more difficult than it looks. Being in the break is a huge advantage in those Dutch and Belgian circuits that were the bread and butter of 120km A-class ('Elite' in Belgium) races.
