Kind of interesting that their were accusations of sHillary having dementia back during the 2016 campaign.
Times-Union readers want to know:
I read on the internet that Hillary Clinton's medical records show that she has seizures and dementia even though the media has reported that her doctors gave her a clean bill of health. Which is true?
Those "records" on some conservative websites are fake, FactCheck.org reports.
Lisa Bardack, Clinton's longtime physician - whose name appears atop the alleged "leaked" documents - released a statement to FactCheck.org calling the documents "false," and reiterating her diagnosis that Clinton is "in excellent health and fit to serve as president of the United States."
In December 2012, Clinton was diagnosed with a concussion, which caused double vision for nearly two months. But Bardack - director of internal medicine, Mount Sinai Health System at CareMount Medical - said that follow-up medical exams in 2013 "revealed complete resolution of the effects of the concussion."
The fake documents, dated Feb. 5, 2014, which appear to have originated from the since-deleted Twitter account titled @HillsMedRecords, purport to come from Bardack. But if they came from her, you'd think she'd have her title correct. But it's wrong on the letterhead, FactCheck.org points out. And Snopes.com asked doctors to review the "leaked" records to determine whether they contained obvious signs of fabrication visible to physicians (but not necessarily laymen), and they unanimously agreed the documents appear to be forgeries.
The records indicate that Clinton suffered complications from the concussion, including "blacking out," "uncontrollable twitching" and "memory loss." It says Clinton has previously been diagnosed as having "Complex Partial Seizures" and "early-onset Subcortical Vascular Dementia." The images were shared and discussed on numerous websites and in social media. But again, this is a fake document.
