Forrest Gump is the best movie ever.

That was the point though. It's obvious and simple. You don't always need some fancy well thought out plan, whether it's a soundtrack or life. Sometimes simple works best. Do you even metaphor bro?

He's a Rory fan, which means his tastes are far too exquisite for a movie such as Forrest Gump. We are such simpletons.

I don't think you understand what a metaphor is bro.

It's a shit way to convey that "ok now we're in X time period" without having graphical text at the bottom of the screen. It's a cheap movie making gimmick that is tired and overplayed.

Thinly veiled insults... son I'm on sherdog ya gunna need to do better than that.

Simple man, simple soundtrack. Forrest was just floating through life but you want some obscure songs or something that have nothing to do with the iconic moments in each decade that Forrest helped influence? No offense and I try not to use this term but that sounds hipster. "The soundtrack was fluently helping the story progress in a clear way....how lame"

Different strokes for different folks though so agree to disagree.

How old are you? No offense but the only thing that can compete with Forest Gump on that list (As far as cinamatic quality goes) is American Beauty.

came here to say this. what a horrible list of mostly average movies. Why not add Die Hard to that list

Whenever I think of the best movies ever, Forrest Gump is definitely high up.

Somebody wrote Inception and Interstellar. It amazes me how you can recognize the Master (Nolan) and not recognize the awesomeness of Forrest Gump.

I read the sequel some 15 years ago. Dont really remember the story though, but they should have made that second Film.

LOL not even in top 5 Tom Hanks films

It's a cinematic classic if you think movies like Braveheart are masterpieces.
