Forrest Gump is the best movie ever.

We named our new kitten Forrest because he's mildly retarded

It is a good film with a solid soundtrack but its arguably the 3rd best film that year behind Shawshank and Pulp Fiction imo.

It is a very good movie for sure. On my all time favorite movies list I would place it in my top 20.

But does your cat do amazing things?....like could he dominate in a cat military, become a ping pong cat champion...

Anybody ever look at like he wasn't stupid? That he was just as decent of a human being as you could possibly be and no one else was even near his level when it came to that?

You mean the guy who couldn't figure out to stop running in end zone in college football, the guy who thought Apple was a fruit company, the guy who met the President and the first thing he said was "I gotta go pee", the guy who got shot in the butt and thought it was literally a "million dollar wound", the guy who was indirectly responsible for a slew of cultural/societal relevancies(teaching Elvis to dance, writing the lyrics to Imagine by Lennon, Watergate, creating diplomatic ties with Red China, etc) and be seemingly completely oblivious to their existence...that guy?

You're a terrible person.

I'm a little biased because it won awards over my favorite/best movie of all time, Pulp Fiction. I didn't think it was a good film though, and I particularly didn't find the special effects to match the praise.

It was like 1994 dude. C'mon!

It seems that "Special" people really like it.

I know this feeling. I'll always dislike Avatar just a little extra because it won the Best Cinematography award over films with legit great cinematography like The White Ribbon and Inglourious Basterds

This was so fucking lame to me. Like, one might have been cute, but they went to the well over and over with things that were way too gigantic. It was insulting.

Big Fish had a similar concept handled much more compellingly.
