International Fishermen in Trinidad and Tobago fear for their lives and jobs after US strikes in the Caribbean

They were drug smugglers. If they weren't, the faces of these "fishermen" would be plastered all over the news.

He's killing drug smugglers. Boo fucking hoo.
Funny how the tune for so many Americans changes so fast when it's Americans or Westerners who get caught with drugs in other countries. Suddenly then excessive punishments for drugs are bad.

Or more obviously, does this mean open season on all those white collar folks in America who spawned the opioid crisis?

I'm pretty sure everybody understands that some people who commit war crimes will not get brought to justice. Whether it is Putin, Trump, Bush Jr or whomever else. Saying people not satisfied with folks abusing their "above the law" status are just screaming partisans by default is just lazy nonsense.
what's "lazy nonsense" is thinking there's some humanitarian motive to it instead of simple political partisanship.

They should speak to their politicians about ending the drug trade. It sucks that innocent people have to live in fear because of cartels, the problem should of been dealt with before they got so powerful

To be fair to them it's not their government. They're not Venezuelans.

What about the simple logic that the US is now telling the world that killing unarmed Americans is now perfectly fine?

The point of following laws is that it protects you/your country at the end of the day, if you buy in.

when wasn't it perfectly fine? when was it IMPOSSIBLE for the american state to kill its own citizens if it chose to?

If any country is dumb enough to think that, they are in for a world of hurt.

You are legally not allowed to murder survivors. Why is that so hard to understand. The weekend Fox News host was either going rogue or implementing orders but either way he is not going to survive this. Trumps polling numbers are too weak and Trump is a lame duck, which is a terrible combo for Pete Kegstand. He is either the fall guy or the guy who got too big for his britches.
Laws are not based on your feelings. If it was I would be doing 110mph on the toll road.

Says who? The weak ass international courts? The USA never signed into the ICC, we don’t follow their authority or jurisdiction.

Also, the Geneva conventions are bs, no one enforces them.

So no, it’s not illegal.

You mean like Saudia Arabia or any number of tyrants and lunatics that Trump is happy to look the other way for if the bribe is big enough?

What? What us citizen did Saudi’s kill? Khagsogi was a Saudi national. We shouldn’t really care about that. He just had a visa, not even a green card, w/e.

Makes sense, most of the other mentally crippled weirdos in here try to act "alpha" and "badass" by not caring about people being murdered for no reason, when it reality just shows how fucked y'alls thought process is lol.
your heroes died. lolz.

Most people are.

Quite possible most, but maybe not.

The issue reminds me of torture/waterboarding after 9-11. Even though most folks were of course very bloodthirsty after 9-11, the majority were against waterboarding, and most considered waterboarding torture even though the political leadership at the time that had an overwhelming support for war was saying it wasn't torture.

How this compares to blowing up suspected drug traffickers (when liberalization of drugs has been on an upward trend and war on drugs increasingly viewed as an absurd failure), especially when it's farcical in that other countries are more responsible for drugs going into the U.S. are being spared, and the outright lies around fentanyl coming from there is tough to tell. But like the prior, people with some innate sense of justice and have logical frameworks for fairness are going to have issue with what's going on.

Whiskey Pete Kegstand is a War Criminal. Facts don’t care about your feelings.
This is why you don’t hire the weekend host of Fox and Friends. Hire Clowns expect a Circus.
