Thing is, is not what Jones has seen before, he has seen it all, its the conditions when he will have to deal with it, Jones isnt in his prime anymore, and training isnt the same as fighting, im not a Jones hater but i would have a hard time thinking Jones would win at this stage of his career, people love to comment on how big Jones was for LHW, he was just another tall guy at LHW, like a bunch of them are, he wasnt cutting from 240lbs to make 205lbs, he is a career LHW that stopped dieting to move up to HW, he was lighter than Stipe and for sure is lighter than Aspinall, who is in absolute prime shape, considerably younger than Jones. What does Tom have that Jon hasn't seen before? Jon trained with Frank Mir who was bigger and had MUCH better jits than Tom. He trained with Reem who was bigger and had better striking than Tom.
So, what is it? What does Tom bring to the table that is supposed to instill fear in Jon?
I agree with this sentiment. Not necessarily from one of those guys, but the longer Jones tests the waters the more likely he will be put down, and when he does it will likely be pretty brutal. Of the two, I think Poatan has a better chance of icing him, due to his experience. He is patient, calculated, and has crazy power. Aspinall also has a good shot though, due to his speed and general well rounded skillset. I just feel he is less polished.Either they make JBJ Vs Tom or Poatan.
JBJ is gonna get sent to retirement.
This is as much and as little as needs to be said.Tom Aspinall is the Interim Champion which means the championship is not undisputed. The interim champ is supposed to fight for the belt. That's why he has the belt- it's a statement that says there is no real champ until the two fight.
What does Tom have? He has the belt.
I just hate to see Tom get screwed out of anything that could have counted as a legit defense. He could surpass Stipe, but as it stands, his “defense” against Blaydes doesn’t technically count, although it should. He has every right.
Well, unless you're actually taking it seriously as in "oh no, he's holding up the belt!".
The BELT!
Ask Jon not us lolWhat does Tom have that Jon hasn't seen before? Jon trained with Frank Mir who was bigger and had MUCH better jits than Tom. He trained with Reem who was bigger and had better striking than Tom.

I agree that he absolutely should fight Tom. I have no interest in the Poatan fight. I believe Tom's speed and well roundedness makes him a real challenge, but I just don't believe that it's something Jon hasn't seen before.Tom Aspinall is the Interim Champion which means the championship is not undisputed. The interim champ is supposed to fight for the belt. That's why he has the belt- it's a statement that says there is no real champ until the two fight.

Relax, sir.Irrelevant
Tom is the only legit contender now
No one at LW has ever been as good as Khabib
So Islam can duck whoever he wants. Right?
Why are Jon fans terrified of Tom
Dude, I was talking skill wise only. Not disputing at all whether he should fight Tom or not. Tom is the only fight IMO. I just don't buy into the narrative that Jon hasn't dealt with his skills before. What does Shavkat have that Belal hasn’t seen before? What does Ankalaev have that Pereira hasn’t seen before? What does Tsarukyan have that Makachev hasn’t seen before?
By that silly logic, why do people even fight? We can just assume the winner, no need for champions to put their championship on the line. We should just let them pick opponents.
Reading comprehension, sir! Smh!What is this retarded cope?
Agreed.Thing is, is not what Jones has seen before, he has seen it all, its the conditions when he will have to deal with it, Jones isnt in his prime anymore, and training isnt the same as fighting, im not a Jones hater but i would have a hard time thinking Jones would win at this stage of his career, people love to comment on how big Jones was for LHW, he was just another tall guy at LHW, like a bunch of them are, he wasnt cutting from 240lbs to make 205lbs, he is a career LHW that stopped dieting to move up to HW, he was lighter than Stipe and for sure is lighter than Aspinall, who is in absolute prime shape, considerably younger than Jones.
Its not like Aspinall is this fresh new monster, is that he is a fresh monster and Jones is 38 years old.
PS: Discrediting the opponent skills is the wrong take...more reason to take the fight, isnt it? To prove the haters that Aspinall wasnt all that, if the crowd wants him to fight an easy fight, why not just do it? Wrong take.
Reading comprehension, sir! Smh!
Right! They are just as bad as all the Jon's stans they complain about.Seems like a lot didn't read the part about putting their feelings aside, either

No argument, just a question.TS your argument fails as Overeem injured Jones accidentally in training. Jones was out for months and never wanted to train with Overeem again.
Also Tom is faster and has crisper straights than Alistair. He will knock out Jon if the fight keeps standing.
Aspinall has a great overall package and is young.
The UFC, which owns and controls the championship, disagrees.Tom Aspinall is the Interim Champion which means the championship is not undisputed.
