Colby has a lot of material to use to build up that fight, lets do it.
That first sentence sounds awfully like Jake Paul.Covington would never take that fight. He only wants low risk fights or big names past their prime.
Remember when Colby spotpicker was calling out Ian Garry lol… he dropped it all together and went silent once he realized Ian is actually good.
Colby wishes he could be Jake Paul. He’s the Jake Paul of MMA though for sure. That first sentence sounds awfully like Jake Paul.

Colby will not fighting again unless the UFC offers him another undeserved title shot.
YesOnly reason to make that fight is if you really hate Colby and want to see him get his ass kicked lol. He gets ran through by Morales, I'd rather see Morales in fights where he gets tested a bit.
Buckley was the only lower risk non title fight Colby ever took. Usually he just tries to fight easy ones and get undeserved title shots.Colby's last 2 fights were Leon and Buckley. Which of those 2 were "low risk" and "past their prime"?
Well Colby's old now, but DHK was ranked #7 when he beat him, Maia was ranked #3, RDA was ranked #2, Lawler was #10, Woodley was #5 and was champ a year earlier, Masvidal was #6 and was the last title challenger, Usman and Leon were the current champs.Buckley was the only lower risk non title fight Colby ever took. I mean who is Colby’s best win? RDA? Old man Lawler? Old man Maia? Washed Tyron?
Well of course there’s risks involved in any fight but in the Leon fight he literally had nothing to lose. He was being gifted a TS after a single win over Masvidal and a near two year layoff. Buckley fight was riskier but he filled in on short notice so I’m sure he was paid well.Colby's last 2 fights were Leon and Buckley. Which of those 2 were "low risk" and "past their prime"?
RDA was 33 and just beaten #6 and then #2 Lawler who had just lost the title and won his follow up fight.Well of course there’s risks involved in any fight but in the Leon fight he literally had nothing to lose. The guys that were past their prime include Lawler, Woodley and Masvidal. Hell, next month it’ll be seven years since he beat someone coming off a win and even RDA was past his prime then and was fighting in a weight class he never really belonged in.
Don’t get me wrong RDA was still great at the time but I think it’s safe to say his best days were behind him when he fought Covington. I always thought he was kinda undersized for WW anyway and even then that fight was no walk in the park for Colby.RDA was 33 and just beaten #6 and then #2 Lawler who had just lost the title and won his follow up fight.
