This is nothing to do with who's the best MMA fighter is.

I just want to know based on their style of fighting, which kind of fighter would you want to be?

Fedor - Always going forward, always looking for the finish in any way possible.

Jon Jones - Methodical fighter, can break you down in so many ways, highly creative attack.

GSP - Very strategic fighter as well, more of a play it safe style but highly effective.

Anderson Silva - Highly effective striker, a show man matrix like abilities.

Mighty Mouse - Probably the most well rounded fighter of this group.

DJ is by far the most skilled. Easy choice.

Fedor is very athletic and tough.
JJ has a unique frame and is tenacious.
GSP doesn't really fit. Good wrestling, jab, and fight IQ. (sorry Canada)
Anderson Silva is probaby a close second. Skilled in all areas except offensive wrestling. Probably the best striker.

Of those guys, probably Fedor.

If any fighter is allowed, then Jiri. I want to be able to block punches with my face.

Yeah but then you would have to be a midget.
I answered as if I could just take their skill and talent not body. If I have to take the body, Silva is the best choice because he's the most skilled with a normal build.

You can get Fedor's physique by eating burgers and drinking beer.

All of them.

GSPs double
Anderson's accuracy.
Fedor's right hand and GNP
Jones' fight IQ
Johnson's ability to chain.

Of all of them? A prime Jon Jones is the most impressive to me. If you want to make an idiotic argument about Mighty Mouse, the pound for pound thing is stupid...if Mighty Mouse was a 6'3 220lb LHW he himself wouldn't be as fast, technical, athletic and conditioned. He also reigned over a very weak division in a weak era and ran into some issues, draw and losses along the way.

GSP beat the best strength of schedule but the utter lack of tenacity, finishing ability and very robotic striking isn't appealing.

Anderson lacked wrestling, ruled over a largely weak era with some big wins too. I always found his striking to lack substance, too reliant on counter striking, didn't face enough technically strong strikers or lengthy guys like an Adesanya, Mousasi, Lyoto, etc. Also had a bad physique, sorry I'm that guy. Anderson was always unimpressive and static vs guys who didn't play his game on the feet and a dude with length like Weidman gave him issues, even Sonnen standing did.

Fedor would be my second pick....strong takedowns, mat grappling, incredibly fast handspeed and for his size explosive punching power. Judo is beautiful, I think he could have had better takedown defense and that armbar off his back wouldn't fly in the modern era but for his time a legend. Great chin, fighting spirit, aura.

If Khabib was on this list he'd probably be my second pick over Jones, I don't think he necessarily deserves to be on the list but I found his style and demeanor so damn admirable.

I would not want to be a fighter. You should add that option too.

Cheaters jones and silva have more votes than Mouse..... For Shame Sherdog... For Shame

GSP or Mighty Mouse will probably have the best quality of life after their fighting careers. Definitely gonna go with those.

Fedor is one of the few fighters who looks like he has zero anxiety going into a fight. Plus Russians are just awesome people. I'd go with that.

I won't lie, as cool as it would be to be Anderson silva, I'd probably pick GSP, take fools down all day and almost never get hit. Sounds perfect to me.

Anyone picking Jones or fedor is kind of nuts, fighting those big fuckin dudes is scary as hell no matter how skilled you are.

Mighty Mouse, no question. While the others all have their advantages and strengths, MM just seems perfect in every way.
