Jon is the GOAT fighter without question. Antics outside of the cage mean nothing in making a determination. Drug testing policies were not consistent across the three careers, making this hard to use as a disqualifier imo. GSP lost to Matt Serra and Matt Hughes during some of his most prime years. Fedor's losses came when he overstayed his welcome, so I won't hold those against him. But PRIDE had nowhere near the depth of talent that more modern MMA has had.

Jones is out because he has a ton of cheating and now also ducks opponents.

The only legit cheating accusation you can throw at Fedor is when he grabbed the ropes vs Lindland. But to me that's not as bad as rubbing your body with Vaseline or deliberately building a career off eye-pokes.

Yes, it was very hilarious that Jones has a loss on his record because the ref didn't notice

• Jones dislocated Hamill's shoulder with his takedown and Hamill couldn't continue (TKO injury)
• Jones stopped him a dozen times with GNP before the elbows (TKO)
• Jones never even did 12-6 elbows and arced them like before landing like he's supposed to
• The elbows weren't what were fight ending, everything leading up to them were why Hamill couldn't continue
• He's supposed to give a warning or deduct a point, not an immediate DQ
• That Hamill is deaf and asking him if he can continue is not going to get him an answer and shouldn't have been used as proof that the elbows stopped Hamill

It's almost like there's a reason nobody actually thinks he's ever lost. Even Hamill himself said he didn't win that fight.

Yes, the only way Fedor could possibly fight Overeem, who was the Strikeforce HW champ, was if they fought in the GP.

As opposed to, you know, them simply being matched up before that. Like when Fedor was the WAMMA champ defending in Strikeforce and they could've unified.

• greasegate against BJ 2
• failed to make weight against Diaz but Quebec covered it up for him
• scandals with VADA for both Condit and Hendricks
• scandal with NSAC for Hendricks and wanting to know what's being tested
• was training partners and friends with a major drug kingpin

As well as actually losses in title fights where he was definitively finished and didn't possibly maybe lose a 48-47 decision by 1 round. Which he also has against Hendricks.

Because it'll always be the same. You remove steroids from the equation entirely, and a lot more people would have Jones as goat. But he DID pop for steroids and cheat in a multitude of other ways throughout his career, and nothing is ever gonna change that. Sitting out with the belt and cherry picking Old Man Stipe then calling himself the goat while avoiding the #1 contender didn't help him either. If it was just his record it would be beyond debate like you guys want it to be, but all this other stuff he's done matters too.

Fedor got KO'd a week before Jones obliterated #1 ranked Gane and you guys didn't care then either.

And then yes, most recently did go and get another win on top of that a few weeks ago.

We've noticed that you don't actually give a shit about any of these guys records. Jon keeps winning and you all still keep him below other guys doing worse than him.
